A wonderful well shaped shoe for light work, losing stars only because of the wild claims in the ad.
First off, for a safety shoe, this is one of the best shapes I have ever seen, the steel toe is big enough for your toes but is not that noticable...they just look like trainers! This is achieved by using a bigger sole footprint to widen the toe and give a pleasing pointed shape as opposed to squeezing the toe in to make the steel part more trainer like. These are also clearly slip on shoes, which I really like, and the laces while allowing some adjustment are primarily aesthetic. The material feels quite hard wearing (after a week of use now) and is suitably full of holes for breathability. The actual steel toe is slightly visible if you look through the fabric closely, so I'm wondering will that rust? The shoe upper is glued onto a single piece sole and this is were things unravel a little. The sales description 'suggests' strongly this will stop nails....it wont, the sole is one piece hollow rubber, you can actually feel the hollow sections through the insole which may irritate some people. Admirably there is a puncture resistant type material under the removable insole, but its not stopping a nail. So as a safety boot, this is for light warehouse use (I bought them for working at home DIY stuff, I use V12s for work) maybe even caretaker type work in buildings. Its going to stop a ream of paper or a dropped hammer hurting your toe. On building sites, no way, the sole will wear through quickly and as the soft sole cannot support the steel toe, anything heavy like a block is just going to punch the steel toe through to the ground. Another thing to remember is that there is no arch support, so working on ladders will be agony after a while. All in all, a great looking safety shoe, easy to put on, great for DIY. Thanks for reading :)

light and comfy
I ordered these safety shoes to replace my heavy workbooks, i have athritis in my knees and found after a shift it was like I had been wearing weights on the end of my legs.I bought size 5 ladies as I had read a review saying they weighed just under 300g but they weigh 444g but are still the lightest workshoe I have had, they are extremely comfortable plenty room for toes, I added gel insoles as the concrete floor in the warehouse can be hard on the legs. These are as comfortable as any normal trainer so much so I forgot I still had them on about half an hour after I got home, the back is soft so I use a shoehorn to put them on and the laces can just be left tied and slip the shoes off and on.I'd recommend these to anyone looking for a safety shoe with comfort.I bought the black with the red pattern on the side, I mention this as I think these reviews cover the whole selection

Good for extremely light work for people who don't do any hard work...... Managers in short.
These things started to fall apart the moment I put them on. First thing that will happen is the insole with slowly disintegrate. If you wear boots for work you will know that the right toe get's scraped but with these being nylon weave that means the whole boot will unravel. I melted the cloth together with a lighter that seems to have helped it stay together two weeks into owning them. At the same time I noticed that the toetector part of the boot is plastic. It seems to be a semi circle, rather than a cup so there is nothing stopping the thing from flattening out completely like a peace of paper apart from the strength of the thing it's self which I can tell you is good for maybe a pallet from about a foot and a half. Now that I've had them a while the body of the boot and in fact the whole thing is falling apart. Loose and the stitching pulling through the really light weight material. I have had them now for 6 months and they've needed replacing for 2. My last boots lasted a year and a half and that's around average for my work boots. So if you hardly work, need boots to slip on like slippers and feel like they are too because they are really really comfortable then these are the ones for you! In short if you are a weak, pathetic looser with low intellectual fortitude but better than average social skills but moderate physical work ethic and only need these occasionally to look like you are doing something , get these. Real workers need something more reliable. BASICALLY not worth the money.

The best workshop shoe wear.
I purchased these for my fussy 88 year old Father who is in his workshop every day standing on concrete floors they arrived sooner than expected. He was pretty grumpy about the fact I had bought him toe tecter shoes! But loved the lightness and comfort. Two weeks later while changing the chuck on his Lathe, which he processed to drop on his foot, he couldn’t speak highly enough about them and I finally got a thank you, Suffice to say all 5 toes in tact and unharmed. They really deserve a 10/10. He wears them all the time and they are as new.

Very good replacement for trainers.
Very good nice and broad front part comfortable to wear immediately no breaking in required. I find them very slightly heavier than trainers but they look just like trainers and I when I say slightly I mean very slightly heavier. I have worn trainers for over 50 years and I will see how well they last. My last pair have been to America and China in 2019. They have been worn when refurbishing my gardens and rockery and I believe these are better than my old trainers. I still think trainers today are not made to last any more than 2 to 3 years if they are constantly used. So if you want a good wearing shoe try these.

Great product
I am giving this shoes a really hard time. have them now for over one monthI am working as a hgv driver walking on construction sites, different wet environments and they still surprise me. Don t get me wrong if you step into a puddle higher than the bottom rubber you are soaked. But never felt water coming up from the bottom or from the tip of the shoe.i do get asked around if they are Steel Toes because they look like running trainers, but the answer is of course SURE!i used to suffer from the sore feet from long working hours 12+ but that is gone now. shure they are getting a hard beating and getting tired but still.... will buy them again!!!!
