Festool 204308 CT Mini/Midi -2/5 Filter Bags

Festool may be expensive, but the dust collectors WORK. I've literally filled these bags with wood and epoxy dust to the point where they couldn't take any more, but it was still removing dust from the air through the DC. One of the least expenive things that Festool makes too.

Festool takes design seriously. These bags are no exception and work well.

The original is always the best. Better to spend little more money than to buy a fake one. I brought it and I knew the difference. Stick on the original.

Works for the mini

I get it. A company's gotta make money. However, the material of the filter bag is so nice and almost luxurious-feeling that it seems like a waste to throw the bag away after just one use. So what I do is empty the contents from the hole out of the bag and use it again. I've also tried washing the bag (you have to be careful not to wet the cardboard), which seems to work well. The dust collector has the self-cleaning feature anyways so theoretically it should keep working well as long as you can empty the contents. If Festool decided to provide more value to the consumer, they could design one end of the pleated bag with a linear crimp, such that the crimp could be slid off to allow the contents to be more easily dumped out for re-use. Unfortunately that's not in their best business interest, so here we are. Anyways, it's a good bag. It's a great bag. It's just not designed to be re-usable, even though it can be.

Worth the price premium compared to the third party alternatives to avoid compatibility/performance issues. I considered purchasing one of the third party alternatives at about half the cost per bag, but decided against doing so because I just don't fill up a bag fast enough to justify the potential issues.

These work great. these make it easy to empty your Festool dust extractor. I like the door that you can close on it once you are ready to throw it away. Fits the Festool CT MIDI.
