Very tasty
I make this with a Zojirushi rice maker and the rice comes out perfect every time. There is so little effort involved in making this and nothing sticks to the rice bowl so the bowl is easier to clean afterwards. I don't even have to wash the rice as much as I did with sushi rice. The rice is flavorful enough to where I don't feel the need to add furikake and I can eat it just by itself.

This Rice Is Wonderful!
I love, love, love this rice! I have purchased this product twice now, and it is my "go to" rice for my household. Great flavor and aroma, and the cooking instructions (not the same as your typical grocery store bagged rice) are easy to follow and yield perfect rice every time!

GREAT RICE!
I am a big rice eater, and Basmati is my fave. Great taste , great aroma, great to cook with. Will buy more as needed, sent a bag to my sis. Oh, and neat bag too!

Very happy with this rice
I ordered two 10 pound bags and qualified for Super Saver shipping, so this turned out to be more economical than buying basmati rice at my grocery store. I found this rice to be superior to that which I normally buy. Cooks easily and looks/tastes wonderful when it's done. I would buy this item again.

Slow to cook but great quality
Can be a little annoying to cook on a pot because it takes more than the usual 30 minutes of simmering but the quality of the rice is great and 10lb for $15 is a great deal.

Best Indian rice I ever tasted
This is even better than Super Saddhu. If you are still eating Tilda, you should try some really good rice. India gate has different kinds of rice. I tried 2 of them in small bags from a local (persian) shop and could not tell the difference. Both excellent. update: but now it is really overpriced when you add shipping. Lal Quilla and "Royal Chefs Select Basmati" (not the plain "Royal") are also excellent. I usually shop around to see which is cheapest. Often local Indian stores have better prices, but depending on where you live in the U.S., you might have to buy on the web.

Good rice, good deal!
Never had India Gate's rice but I will say this was a great purchase. Excellent deal compared to buying basmati rice from the grocery store. Cooked the rice and the aroma & taste is no different from Mahatma's rice. The packaging was good. The bag is just the same as the display image. Inside the bag, the rice is seal-packaged in plastic.
