I got to say I'm highly impressed. I am a tea lover and I prefer tea over coffee any day so this programmable stainless steel tea maker is a dream machine. The pros: it is beautiful stainless steelIt is programmable to set it to boil at different tempsIt can be set to keep warm for 30 mins so when you go back for another cup its still hotYou can use loose tea or tea bagsIt's super easy to cleanIt's very modern and sleek lookingIt's very well madeIt's super easy to useIt shuts off when water boils outIt shuts off after a certain timeCons:The only con I have is I wish the stay warm feature would be longer than 30 mins more like an hour I'm a slow sipper.Overall this is a fine quality item and well worth the price I am really happy I found this tea maker and would definitely purchase again.

This Kettle is well built and has some pretty cool features - detachable tea strainer that adjusts for optimum concentration of tea. The second lid that comes with the kettle, snaps into place with the unique design of the handle - pops up when you need to remove the lid to fill.We like our instant coffee and tea in the mornings and sometimes at night to help unwind from the day. This kettle is simple - fill with water and press the temperature you want. Within minutes you will have piping hot water with enough to fill multiple mugs (1.7-Liter).This SMAL kettle boils water in under 5 minutes! we really like the product design, functionality and price..... having said that had a small leak on day-one, thought it was condensation at first, but after a week it was leaving a small pool on the counter when ever water sat in the kettle. It is understandable that a seal could could go bad but the real issue was it was impossiable to contact the manufacture in China. There was a web site that didn't provide any support, lead no where and had no contact info. Luckly, bought insurance whick kicked in after 30 day return to amazon (which is my bad for not taking the time to follow-up within the 30 days). The Asurion issurance said they would just credit my account for the full amount because they had no way to contact the manufacturer - but it was in the frorm of a gift card which I have not received yet (past due - so now I have to spend time tracking that down!).Follow-up: received the full refund, it was emailed under a different name than Asurion - now just have to take the last step and link it to my account so it can actually be used. Is the complexity by design or just typical multi-step customer process due to poor business processes? who knows - but in the end, tenacity is required in our new online / internet market place.the time & effort has now made this product more expensive than the Beville (which it seems to be almost an exact copy but added a more stylish design !!!!so mixed feeling about a product which could have been really good :-(

I love this device. I've been making loose leaf tea from Teavana for years and messing around with a tea kettle and tea pot. This is so much easier! I hated the tea kettle/tea pot thing for a many reasons: 1. I could never tell how much water to put in the tea kettle. This makes it easy 2. I could never tell when the tea pot was almost full (it's not transparent). Don't have to worry about that with this (you don't have to pour water from the kettle to the pot). The water heats up faster than a tea pot, and I love that you just push down the steeping basket. It's so easy! I considered other models that were more expensive, but reviewers said you can't replace the glass if you break it, and i wasn't going to risk that much money on an all-or-nothing device. That other more expensive model also had an automated tea basket lowering device, but that's just something else to break, and i like the fact that one can manually control how much steeping time with this tea maker. Another reviewer complained that it beeps too much, but I don't agree.
