Perfect for 6yo son
We recently got the Columbia Boys' Glennaker Rain Jacket for my son and it's fantastic! It fits him perfectly and strikes the perfect balance between being waterproof, lightweight, and durable. This jacket keeps him dry without being bulky, which is exactly what we needed. Plus, the price was great, making it an excellent value for the quality. Definitely a smart buy for keeping kids comfortable in rainy weather!

Great rain coat. It is completely unlined and is NOT a spring jacket.
Nice raincoat. Totally unlined. So this isn't a "spring coat". It is literally just a waterproof shell. We live in Wisconsin, so we layer with a hoodie in spring and fall. Hood seems a bit tight to pull over the head, but once it's on it doesn't blow down right away, so I imagine that is purposeful design. Love the fit and quality. Elastic sleeves are a nice touch. I like the simple, black color. It's hard to find a coat for kids (especially little kids) that doesn't have silly colors, patterns, or designs. My son is 5 years old. He is big for a five year old. He normally wears Small (6/7). I didn't want to get a Columbia brand jacket he would grow out of right away, but this coat seemed kinda big.

Great, affordable, versatile jacket for the kids
Needed to gear up my little one for a trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where the weather is super volatile and unpredictable, and temperature can range 30+ degrees between highs and lows even over the summer. This is a great option -- affordable, versatile, and durable. My wife and I have more "adult" gear that need care and maintenance -- our rain jackets use the newer laminates that have to be used and stored w/ caution b/c you dont want that stuff to peel (or else you lose the rain and wind blocking qualities). This one is waterproof nylon. Worked amazing to keep out the rain (it rained a lot, and it was cold rain!), the wind (a great layer to wear on the lake or after getting out of the water), and -- super importantly -- mosquitos can't bite through it! Also tolerates bug sprays and sunscreens. This is a great material to use for kids over the more expensive laminates and goretex etc. Only reason I took off one star is that the pockets should REALLY have zippers. Every outdoors grade jacket should have zippered pockets!!!

Great for spring and late fall
This is a very lightweight and durable jacket, the sleeves were a tad bit long but definitely nothing to complain about. Keeps you dry and warm when raining. I wouldn't suggest wearing it when raining and humid, because it does keep you warm despite being pretty thin.

Caution regarding packaging
This product is great. It was shipped quickly, fit grandson well. It’s a perfect weight rain jacket. Have the same style myself. What floored me is that the package was in the mailbox laying in the clear plastic wrap as it normally be, the other product I ordered was in the usual in its clear padded Amazon envelope, while the rain jacket was simply laying there, no packaging. It was very strange, by the jacket was unharmed

Great Quality Raincoat at an Amazing Price!
I purchased this for my 10 year old for this fall/spring going to/from school. The Large is a little big on him, but he runs small (12% on height and weight charts) and it gives him plenty of room to grow. The quality is great and feels sturdy without being rubbery. We have not yet had a chance to test out the waterproofing, but being a good brand that I trust, I imagine that won't be an issue. It is a thin jacket. I don't think it will provide much warmth other than keeping him dry and blocking the wind, but it will be perfect over a sweatshirt for the cooler days. I liked it so much that I returned the "cutesy" raincoat I bought my 4 year old and bought a second one of these in a size Small for him!

Yeah, it's just a casual jacket for windy or rainy days (not a raincoat). Hoped the material was a little bit thicker. Overall an OK jacket.

Material is ok, if it is fitted to you the product is durable and good, but for my case it is unfortunately not fit to my body and somewhat tight on my chest area, not comfortable to me.
