Works perfect with RF and EF lenses! Make every lens a macro!
I was looking for an accessory to my EOS R system to get some better macro shots. The extension tubes worked perfectly. The macro kit is well built and easy to use. I was so happy to see the Auto Focus worked great with the rings. It makes focusing so much easier. One of the features on the EOS R is the focus guide when you have AF turned off on the lens. It's a great feature to use for macro photography along with the focus peaking. Because the rings have the contacts built-in, the focus system on the EOS R works without fail. I tried the rings with my 24-70 MK ii and my 100 mm macro lens that are both EF with the EF to RF adapter and it was like using a native lens. I also used an RF 50mm and it was great too. If you are looking to make any lens a macro ability lens, then these tubes are perfect. They make the minimum focus distance less and add some mm to your focal range. So adding an 11mm ring to my 100mm macro makes it 111mm and also allows me to focus closer. I would highly suggest giving these rings a chance for getting some beautiful macro photography. They are affordable and built very well. I love to buy accessories to try with my camera to have some fun with and these were a ton of fun to use. It's so encouraging to see more companies build products to use with the new RF lens mount. I can't wait to see new things come out for the RF system soon.

Works great, pretty good construction, no compatibility issues
Pretty happy with these extenders. Works great on my RF Lenses, and even great with a EF-RF Converter. No issues with compatibility on camera bodies (Tested with R6mII, R8,R10, RP) or various lenses. AF works perfectly, and I was able to consistent autofocus when needed. The build qualities decent, the extenders are light, and stackable if you want. Really no complaints about them. They do what their suppose to do at a decent cost.

Cheap reliable way to get detailed shots without a dedicated Macro.
I used the Meike MK-RF-AF1 13mm + 18mm Extension Tube Kit on a Canon R6 with the RF 24-70mm f/2.8, and the results met expectations for macro work. The tubes preserve full electronic communication, including AF and aperture control, which is a big win. The combo performed beautifully for close-up flower photography, letting me get surprisingly close while maintaining sharpness and control. Build quality is solid—metal mounts feel durable and snug. However, the 11mm tube has a sticky release latch, particularly when mounted to lenses like the RF 50mm f/1.2 and 24-70mm f/2.8. It takes some finesse (and patience) to detach, which could be frustrating in fast-paced shooting environments, and downright nerve racking when you have a $25 tube stuck to a $1600 lens. Overall, it’s a good value option for anyone exploring macro work with RF glass.

These work great for close up focusing.
These really work well. I’m so surprised that they transmit the aperture and focus signals to the lens from the body (considering Canon’s Third Party stance for RF mount). The mount is solid and they do the job.

AF struggles but otherwise usable with Canon R5 with 31 mm combined extension
Results 31mm combined extension. AF struggled with R5 with 50/1.8 and 100-500 rf lenses but worked reasonably well with 24-240 rf. Achieved max magnification of 0.95x at 35 mm with 24-240, however unusable because lens touching object to focus; with the same lens magnification was .52 at 240 vs .26 without extension. Was most usable with 50/1.8 with MF at max magnification of 0.82x and reasonable focusing distance. Max magnification with the 100-500 was 0.5x, from .33x without the tube. Mechanically felt OK, but did not lock the 100-500 lens, so would not recommend carrying the camera with the extension and a large lens.

Better than expected
I wanted a fully functional extension tube ring set for my RF cameras, and this popped up on my "suggestions". First to note, there are only two rings. Other sets for my full frame EOS cameras had 3 rings. These rings, like other inexpensive brands in past purchases, are lower in price than the camera manufacturer and higher end brands. When I received them, they were excellent build quality and they work. No just juggling just right for the rings, and for the planets to align just right - they consistently work. I will be buying a second set soon.

Works on EOS R
They fit without jamming and snap in with ease. Just a bit of slop when locked in. I had one issue where I didn't click together far enough, but now I double check and issue free. The lock/release is a bit small but functional. Overall, they work and are a good value. (EOS R and a bunch of RF lenses) - Update: Still working just fine. But, the caps don't stay on in storage. There are no clicks or stops to keep them attached.

The security pin is a pain
Almost excellent but the security pin tends to keep stuck. Maybe it's one perk for the price.

Die zwischenringe passen gut auf meine Canon R7 und R5M2, was die Hauptsache ist. Die elektronischen Funktionen funktionieren. Rundum wertige und stabile Ringe.

I had waited in the hope that Canon would make their own RF extension tubes but I needed a small one for a specific task to use with an RF 85mm f2 Macro lens and so I decided that this pair of Meike ones would be fine. I am reasonably impressed with the build quality and the electronics all seem to work fine. There's no glass so as long as they are straight and can communicate between lenses and bodies (R5 MkII in my case) then they are perfect for the job. I have only used them for one job and, apart from doing some testing beforehand, haven't really given them a full workout but everything so far points to a very good buy. If Canon ever make their own I might be tempted but if these Meike ones prove to be durable then I don't see any reason to do so in any hurry.
