C++ Concurrency in Action
A**L
A bible for developers who want to master concurrent programming
Pros:* Crisp and to the point content.* Clearly explains "why" things are done in the way they are done.* Enough examples to try out on your own and tweek the code to absorb the concepts.* A nice appendix with other loosely related C++ concepts. Specially helpful for people who don't remember the nitty-gritty details of the concepts while going through the content.

Good book for people who wanna do concurrent programming
Need to have basic understanding of c++ to understand sample code.It explains everything with sample code . Even if you are not writting code in c++, its good to understand the concept of concurrent programming.

An excellent book - highly recommended
This book covers everything you need to know about writing concurrent code in C++ in a very coherent manner.It starts off gently until the kid gloves come off at chapter 5, but the book keeps you going nevertheless.There are chapters that one can skip, and the author says as much wherever necessary.My one criticism is that the appendix which tries to serve as the reference for all concurrency APIs is completely unnecessary as the same information is available for free online.Skipping this appendix completely would make the book less bulky, thereby saving innumerable trees.
