This was a good solution for an Insignia dashcam whose suction-cup mount started falling off in warm weather, then eventually stopped holding at all. This universal mount came with many adapters, and one fit the Insignia dashcam perfectly. It was easy to attach to the rear-view mirror and has been stable. All in all a great value.

I loved my dashcam always recording as I drove, but what I didn't love what it constantly falling down. At least once a month I'd get to my car and find my dash cam hanging from the power cord tucked into the car ceiling. There it would be, just dangling, and looking all stupid. I finally couldn't take it anymore. I was going to buy a new dashcam that mounted to my rear mirror, but then I came across this wonderful product. I didn't see my model dashcam immediately listed as compatible, but I ordered anyway after seeing all of the various mount options that came in the package. Sure enough, there was a slide-in mount that fit perfectly on my dashcam. Getting the mounting piece that attaches to the rear mirror was a little tricky and would probably work better with two people holding it in place while someone else tightened the nuts, but after a little fumbling I did it on my own, and now, my dashcam is securely mounted to my rear mirror and I'll never see it dangling from that ridiculous suction cup ever again. It's perfectly sturdy and solves my problem for a very reasonable price. Everyone with a suction mount that's tired of it falling down should invest in this kit.

This is a good product. I had a dash cam with a suction cup and it worked well for a couple of years. Then the dash cam kept falling off. This didn't happen a lot. During hot and cold days, it would fall more. This product works well and pretty easy to install. Suction wears off quickly and wires get in the way. I would recommend getting a mirror dash cam.

I have a Momento M6 dash cam and I was getting tired of the stupid suction mount popping off all the time. And in order to have that replaced by Momento you have to send in the whole camera. Why, I'll never know. Just send a new suction mount. Anyway, I bought this dash cam mirror mount and it does work well. My mirror doesn't attach to the windshield so it was tight and the camera was pointed a little high. This did have a ball joint that mounted perfectly to my camera so I kept the product. I ordered another mirror mount that had two articulating arms to it so I could get the camera to drop lower. That adapter didn't have a ball joint to fit my camera however. This product was easy to install and I imagine if your mirror is mounted to your windshield it would most likely be perfect for you. Works with the dash camera very well. Its a good design the only downside is that it becomes loose and needs readjusting often.
