The newest revamped “MAX” formula is killer and I mean that you see it, you spray it, then you watch as it dies a fairly quick and presumably painless death right before your eyes! It’s also an effective deterrent as well. We’ve been battling spiders ever since our new house was built outside a wooded area and I’m not talking about little spiders or granddaddy longleg looking spiders; no these are 100% American made brown recluse spiders that cause necrosis in human and animal skin. The bite is known to kill small animals and children as well as adults with weakened immune systems. I had the displeasure of encountering one when I was in my early twenties and now some fifteen odd years later and there remains my permanent reminder not to mess around with these spiders in the form of a quarter sized circumference crater on my inner thigh with a depth of 8mm. They had to express the abscess to obtain a sample of the venom in order to identify it and narrow down the effective antibiotic options to prevent it from spreading any further. It was a painful, horrifying experience and now thanks to RAID MAX: SCORPION AND SPIDER KILLER, I never have to worry about this happening to me or my children (you know, as long as I see it coming which is quite a task in and of itself since these little effers are also known as “door dwellers” (see picture) as in they post up right outside your threshold awaiting the opportunity to sneak inside your house! Imagine the horror! And now I’m feeling compelled by the sheer dubious nature of my review to attach pictured proof, so enjoy the show and if you’ve seen any of these or any of their thousands of sister species at your place, I highly recommend this product because it removes all guess work from your DIY home pest control efforts. And yes I’m aware that not all pests pictured are poisonous but they’re all spiders (except for the scorpion attached to show that the product does as promised) meaning, in my book at least, they’re all equally unwanted home invaders that deserve to die ON CONTACT!

This stuff works great. It's hard to find in California, so I'm glad it's available on Amazon. It's the only spray that will stop the ever encroaching invasion of Brown Widows that have overtaken San Diego. Those things are monsters and have spread faster than wind driven wildfires. They laugh at other sprays and will come after you for annoying them. This is the only spray I've found that stops them quickly.

The best spray ever to me. Doesn't have a horrible smell. Kills so many things on contact except for stink bugs. This spray does not kill stink bugs. Everything else dies fast. I love this spray.

Seems to do the job.

Kills big ugly spiders fast, the ones in my basement drift up into my bedroom so they have to go. I actually hit one with a fly swatter and it turned to me and got ready to jump me, I beat it down with a large plastic tote and it took a few hits, will keep this poison on tap forever :)

Kill your spiders and scorpions with this Raid spray. Works good.

I live in the city and we have a few species of spiders and the wonderful eye sores people call earwigs that decided to move with us recently. Before spraying we were killing 3-10 spiders a day (and a couple earwigs). After spraying everywhere we have found the creepy crawlies we have found 0 of either species. If you use this near or on ceilings, you will want to wash anything that drips down after it dries because it does appear to reflect light differently than the paint. We used a bit of water and dish soap to clean any streaks/drips, no big deal. My kids finally feel like they can go to bed without things crawling on them, which made it worth the money. Our spiders and insects here aren't deadly like in some areas... but regardless it worked wonders and if it works for nearly the time it stated on the can, I will happily purchase more if it means I don't have to listen to a high pitch scream in the middle night ever again.

Love this for those spiders who think they can just move into my house.
