To give you a bit of context i am using these in a hobby cnc mill taking light cuts in aluminium.looking at the price i decided to give thes 0.5mm, long reach endmills a try if i break them i'm not to bothered. I am still on the first one after around 30 minutes of machining aluminium without any coolant. That is longer than i was really expecting due to the lack of any special coating.They apear to be nice and sharp as well plus above all else they are nice and straight.

Unsurprisingly you need to turn the feeds and speeds way down to not snap these. But once slowed down these worked nicely for detailed work. Not sure of longevity but they are pretty cheap.

These are kinda useless, break very very easily, on soft balsa wood with 0.5mm depth and less then 400mm/min feed rate. Do not get this and expect to carve detail, I have NOT been able to complete a single job using these bits as the second detail bit, I would recomend somethingwith a larger diameter and also not from this manufacturer.EDIT: was finally able to get through balsa wood with out breaking using a feed of 233mm/min, detail pass on a 40x200 mm piece of wood took almost 4 hours.

Drill bit continually snaps even with the correct feeds & speeds. Not worth the money.

Very good product and well made. Got these for my 3018 if you dont push them to fast and deep last a long time. And do a great job going to get the smaller ones

These are high quality and surprisingly durable in use despite their fineness . I use them for some watchmaking applications and making fine jewellery .
