I had mixed luck with CURRENT USA products before (the wave pumps were a disappointment), but the **CURRENT USA eFlux DC Flow Pump with Control (1900 GPH)** has been excellent — **it works great** in my aquarium. **Performance:** This pump delivers steady, powerful flow right where I need it. It’s easy to position and adjusts smoothly with the included controller. Even at higher settings, it runs quietly and doesn’t stress the system. **Maintenance:** The only thing to note is that it benefits from a **monthly PM (preventive maintenance)** — a quick clean of the intake and impeller keeps performance strong and prevents buildup. That’s normal for a pump this powerful, and it’s easy enough to stay on top of. **Controls:** The external controller is intuitive and makes dialing in the perfect flow for your tank straightforward. I appreciate having that flexibility without guessing or fiddling. **Build Quality:** Feels solid and well-made compared to some other pumps I’ve tried. So far it’s held up well through regular use. **Final Verdict:** If you want a **reliable, powerful, and controllable flow pump**, the **CURRENT USA eFlux DC 1900 GPH** is a great choice — unlike the wave pumps, *this one actually delivers*. A quick monthly clean keeps it running smoothly. Highly recommended.

Installed this for my 90g and my 55g sump. Workes perfect, I even have to have it on half pressure. As it is hard working. I love it, it's awesome. So much room to play with, I can still drop it down or up if I need to. All this with about 3.5 feet of return from the sump to the display tank.

I bought this pump because I upgraded my lights to Current LEDS with the Bluetooth Loop system. I liked the fact that I control this pump with the Bluetooth controller. The pump came with all necessary 3/4 and 1 inch pumping, controller, power supply, mounting hardware and instructions. I run 3/4 inch in sump return line. So I attached the screen to intake and put the 3/4 inch hose barb on. I used a zip tie to secure the hose to the barb for extra safety. I then I mounted controller and set up with loop. I plugged in the power supply which by the way is same supply that is used for LED lights. I went into loop app and adjusted the power of the pump. The pump runs at 30 percent at lowest setting. It will not go any lower. After a few minutes of playing with volume I settled at 60 percent. I have a 55 gallon standard tank with a corner over flow. And in the pump settings I have the feed section on. The pump powers down to 30 percent for 10 mins for feeding mode. Then ramps back up. The pump is very quiet and powerful. Some things when setting up. First Current uses micro USB for the pump controller to Loop controller. The cord isn't that long. So plan accordingly. Next you have to plug the micro USB on the pump controller in the way instructions say. If not Loop will not control. Its the farthest right on the controller. The last thing is that this does not come with extra extension for pump power. I got lucky and didn't use the ones from my lights. So I used the one. The nice thing about this setup is the extensions are all universal. So they work on lights or pumps. About flow. You could get away with this pump probably up to a 75 gallon tank. But the same works perfectly for a 55 gallon. The last thing is customer service with Current. I had a few questions on setup. I called first thing when they opened. And got an answering machine. Left a message. I think they called back but I figured it out myself. I didn't try the email support so have no idea. Besides the customer support issue I would recommend Current products. I will update if I have any issues with this pump.
