JONNY CATComplete Multi-Cat Clay Litter Bag, 20-Pound

Decided to try out non,clumping cat litter bc my vet said healthier for cats and this won the prize. Works extremely well at controlling odors (can’t smell a thing as long as follow instructions), larger particles so doesn’t get stuck on cat paws, cat loves it, inexpensive. Has light, fresh scent, a bit dusty initially when pour into litter box (hold your breath) Won hands down over Tidy Cats (small, brown particles, poor odor control, wry dusty, cat didn’t like it) and Fresh Step (expensive, less good at odor control). Use for one cat, don’t know how well holds up if use for multiple cats. I am a convert to non clumping - actually easier maintenance than clumping, and kitties don’t lick it off paws ending up w cement in their stomachs.Annoyed bc last time I bought on Amazon available through them so didn’t have to pay shipping. This time I did, which makes it as expensive as Fresh Step. Only Johnny Cat litter currently available through Amazon is Johnny Cat Original, which has good ratings, but haven’t tried. Plus it is an add-on item. Shame on you Amazon for trying to manipulate customer choices! I hope this is only a temporary situation.

Wow. I've been experimenting with different litters for our four cats (I know...), have used everything from name brand to grocery store generics, from clay to walnut to pine.This is - hands down - the worst litter. You're better off with grocery store litter (by a HUGE amount).I don't review items as often as I should. But this is important. The litter breaks up clumps and leaves a mess. And the dust is so extensive that it renders the litter almost unusable. I was so happy when I threw it all out... I'm literally breathing easier :-)Hope this helps!

I foster kittens almost year around, and the shelter doesn't like us using clumping litter. I've tried so many different brands, but when there's 4-6 kittens using the litter boxes, there's always been a horrible urine smell, no matter how much I change or scoop it. Not any more! This is hands-down, the best non-clumping litter I've used. I would give it 5 stars but it definitely is dusty and makes quite a mess when I pour it in. However, I'll put up with dust to have a fresh smelling foster room! I'll never use any other litter for my fosters!

I've been buying Johnny Cat litter for many years, it smells great, it's easy to change the box and it's Kitty approved what could be better?Mr Big, my cat, loves this and will not use any other brand, no matter what.I would love to be able to get 10b bags instead of the 20lbs that I currently buy. The 20lb bags are hard to store in a tiny apt and very heavy for me.I highly recommend Johnny cat, great product and Mr Big approved!!

I only have one cat, not sure how it'll fair with multiple, but I must say I really like this litter. It really sucks up urine and poop odors well and biggest plus of all, the rocks are too big to get stucl between my furbaby's toes. So, it doesn't get tracked all over our apartment or onto our beds. The downside is it doesn't clump. But, if you can get past that, then you're good.

They stopped selling this at the local store. So I had to start buying it on Amazon. I like it because it's not heavily perfumed, but still does the trick. Non clumping. We use it not only in the cat litter box, but also in the garage to soak up spills.

GOOD LITTER FOR THE 5 CATS I HAVE. What I don't understand is why it was just dumped on the bottom of my porch without letting me know it was delivered. Yet it says it was handed directly to person, which is not true.

.... but neither I nor our 4 cats do. Doesn't clump; cats track it about the house. Hard to keep clean. Delivery from Amazon excellent.

This is great litter! Been buying it for years and have no complaints whatsoever about the stuff.
