M-1001 Freedom HD Scuba Diving Mask

It fogs up right out of the box, but use the “burn method” to get the seal off and it will never fog again! Best mask EVER!!! I have a large head so this mask fit very good and was comfortable. The only problem I had was constant fogging during a St. John USVI trip, even with toothpaste trick and de-foggers. This is probably the number one problem with scuba masks though which is why I still gave it 4 stars. I have not attempted the flame from a lighter and wiping the black residue away, which one customer recommended so that will be the next attempt. Other than the fogging it was a great mask.

This was a great purchase, it comes with a case which is great for storing. Very durable and comfortable, I would recommend this product and also getting the mask strap cover for extra greatness (get a bright color for safety). I have only worn it during free diving and snorkeling, and it did not fog nor give me trouble.

Love the mask for snorkeling. Great field of view and seals well. My wife has one and she likes it as well.

I AM NO EXPERT. I simply love the water and snorkel a lot. So they would have earned 4 stars from me if they didn't push on the bridge between my eyebrows. I can adjust them to fit ok, but if I go more than 30ft deep or don't put them on just perfect they push on my brow. the visiblity IS AWESOME! Perfect for snorkeling. Probably not the best for deep stuff just from pressure pushing on your face hard. The materials are so comfy and worth it! the actual view you can't beat! the nose and being about to pressure release is great. the adjustments work very well. Did I mention the materials are awesome. Really is super comfy. If you have a forward brow, move on. Otherwise awesome mask!

I had previously been diving with a Cressi F1 that was a great travel mask, however, I've been having equalizing issues, and that mask kept fogging up, even with anti fog gel. My divemaster recommend this mask, which is more expensive, but doesn't break the bank. My first dive with it, wow, wow, wow. While it's a larger mask, it's still low profile. It offers more room for my larger nose, and helps with equalizing. I was very, very nervous to use the lighter trick, but super glad I did. I then used toothpaste for multiple scrubs. Since the initial setup, I only use antifog gel once per dive, and have not had any fogging issues. The mask is larger, the case is larger, which does take up space when flying, however, this mask is amazing.

Estamos evidentemente ante una máscara de gama alta, los acabados son francamente buenos. Muy suave la parte de silicona que, además, está diseñada de forma que es muy fácil taparse la nariz para ir compensando la presión en las vías auditivas. Por otra parte, el visor de cristal templado es simplemente de 10 y proporciona un ángulo de visión increíble, a años luz de modelos inferiores como mi antigua máscara (por no hablar de los típicos que te alquilan). La comodidad bajo el agua es absoluta, cero empañamiento y cero entrada de agua, la he usado un par de veces ya y en ninguna de mis inmersiones es tenido que evacuar la máscara ni una sola vez, cosa que no me había pasado en mi vida hasta ahora. Te olvidas de que la llevas puesta hasta que vuelves a la superficie y te la quitas. Puede parecer un poco cara habiendo modelos de 40-50 euros muy aceptables, pero vale la pena pagar más por la comodidad y el increíble ángulo de visión. Ideal para caras grandes como la mía, aunque tengo la sensación de que es una máscara que se adaptaría a cualquier contorno de cara.

Super Schnorchelmaske, wertig gearbeitet, sehr großer Sichtbereich. Meine Frau liebt sie, und sie muss bei jedem Strandurlaub mit.

Top Maske, sehr gut verarbeitet. Jedoch musste ich sie ausbrennen um beschlagfrei zu bekommen. Diese Tipps mit Zahnpasta etc. sind völliger Unsinn.

Excelente, mucho mejor que una CRESSI.

After a long quest for a dive mask that fits my quite large head with above average nose, I finally have found a match with this mask. I have tried different masks; the Mares X-Vision was the closest match, but had a small nose pocket. Then I came across this one. I have absolutely no leaks and it fits my large head well. After wearing it for some minutes, I forget that I am wearing it. I can snorkel for several hours without adjusting the mask. It doesn't put pressure points on my skin and afterwards I hardly have any imprints of the mask on my face. I highly recommend this mask if you have a larger than average head and if you are looking for a comfortable mask.
