Skull Cap Helmet Liner Running Beanie - Ultimate Thermal Retention and Performance Moisture Wicking. Fits Under Helmets

*UPDATED 10/27/19*I had completely forgotten about this beanie, let alone the fact that I wrote this review until today. A representative from the company emailed me and offered a full refund and said I don't have to send the beanies back. Keep in mind this is about a year and a half after my initial purchase, I don't even know where those beanies are anymore.Anyway my purchase amount was just refunded to me so I wanted to share this experience here. Given how this company treats their customers I think potential new customers have nothing to lose when trying out this beanie. Either it will fit and you will be happy or you will get your money back with no hassle or arguments from their end.****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************This skullcap is very small! Maybe it can be worn under a helmet but on its own it rides up till it just about falls off. I have shoulder length hair and a normal sized head for reference.I wish I didn't throw away the packing because I really want my money back!

I'm very impressed with these skull caps for several reasons.First is the comfort and non-bulky fit when wearing with a hat or helmet. I use them to provide a barrier agains oil and sweat when I'm wearing hats and helmets. Because they fit so well, and don't have a lot of extra material bulk, they are the best skull cap I've every experienced in the years I've been using head cover!There are times I must remove my hat during the day, and these skull caps stay secure on my head to give me sun protection when my hat is off.Another huge benefit is to protect my pillow at night following surgery on my scalp that would occasional bleed on my pillow. I've tried other skull caps that tie on, or use tight elastic to hold them in place. These other options were very uncomfortable, and resulted in a restless sleep. I ordered a couple of white skull caps to prevent any color coming off on my pillow cover. They are amazing to sleep in, and do not cause any discomfort at all, and keep any bleeding from reaching my pillow cover, which makes me and my wife very happy.They wash very well, and I've ordered several more now that I know how awesome the product is.I highly recommend this product, as they are made very well, and have far exceeded my expectations for a head cover.The customer service is also amazing!I commend the company for making a great product!

Smaller than pictured and very thin. This doesn't really keep you warm by itself since it's so thin. It barley covers half my ears and easily rides up over them and I don't have a large head. Can't return it so I use the beanie together with a Buff "half Buff" and they work well together. The beanie covers from the top of ears to the top of my head, and the half Buff covers my forehead to below my ears. The extra layers keep my head warm. If you're worried about the logo, it started to peel off after one run. It's basically just a sticker so you can peel it right off.

To start, I shave my head. I live in Northen Virginia and it was 22 degrees this morning and the wind was negligible. I could feel the cold on my head. The thickness of these caps would be a little more than compression shorts. Im sure if I was using this for working out where my body temp would rise or as a cover underneath a helmet, than these would be adequate. But as a stand-alone head cover, they are subpar and I couldn't recommend them. The warnings about the color bleeding are accurate. I experienced it on the red cap more than any other color.

This product fits great. I use skull caps when I workout and play tennis. I only read the negative reviews after my cap got delivered. The ones I saw mentioned that the color bleeds. I immediately washed mine and it did bleed. The color that came out was brown, not the black of the cap, so I’m thinking it has something to do with the manufacturing/packaging process and not integral to the cap itself. That said, after the first wash, the bleeding was about 95% less. I’m sure with a thorough initial wash there will be no additional bleeding. I’m sure on the package somewhere it says to wash before wearing, but I could be mistaken about that.

Black dye bleeds heavily if it gets wet or even moist.

Have tried several of these from Amazon and this is the one that I have been looking for. All the others were too tight, too heavy etc. but this one is soft, light weight, snug but not tight, and keeps my head warm. It's perfect. Would have saved $ if I started with this one.

Its sleek, stylish, lightweight and does insulate from the wind/cold. I wore this cap in Atlanta during the last cold snap with windchill temps that average 15 or more degrees below the temperature that was at or well below freezing before the windchill factor. I'm bald and my head and ears were warm and toasting even in the wind and shaded areas. I did sweat but didn't notice any temperature change on my head from the moisture. And as another note, I didn't wear this cap as a liner but as my only head protection from the elements. If I could give it more stars, I definitely would.

Me gustó el material suave y ligero pero a la vez muy efectivo para mantenerte fresco y evitar el paso del viento frio. Es una gorra que no sientes que la traes puesta pues me quedó muy bien. Te mantiene a gusto la temperatura para esos dias de viento y frio. Me gustó mucho para mis entrenamientos y competencias cuando hace frio por las mañanas o tardes de Nov->Feb. Gracias!
