16g CO2 Cartridges

I ordered the unthreaded cartridges and they DO NOT fit Growkerwerks 128 Oz Ukegs because they are 1/16” too short. Strangely, Amazon doesn’t accept returns of “flammable gases”. Anyone know how CO2 would be flammable? Thanks Amazon, I guess I’m out $30.Update- Amazon issued a refund without return. The product doesn’t work with UKEG but I am not out the cash.3 stars because the item is fine, but won’t work, and Amazon return policy for this is just wrong.

I got these with the hopes that they would provide a cheap alternative to the expensive Fluval Co2 20g, low and behold they fit just fine! If you are not used to handling Co2 cartridges, like I was the first 3, you may lose quite a bit until you get the regulator on. My advice: finger tighten until contact is made with the needle, then turn quickly to puncture and don't stop until the hissing ceases. My first only lasted 2 days but now I can get about 4-5 which is due to user error. My hopes that i can get a week between cartridges with skillful practice.

Even though the reviews said they work with uKeg / GrowlerWerks, they do not. I wasn’t not aware that the threaded CO2 cartridges are longer and can end up damaging the regulator on your keg. So buyer beware. It didn’t work with my 128 GrowlerWerks keg. Now I need to figure out what to do with the remaining 28 cartridges.

I always purchase my CO2 in bulk... I ride both Mountain and Road and usually carry at least 3 of them with me... I can not count the number of times that I have stopped to help a rider with a flat.... IT makes it so easy and I keep the spent CO2 for recycling... For the bicycle riders:One other note... Buying the "name brand" CO2 cartridges are worthless... CO2 is CO2 so you are paying for the advertising and the label on the cartridge...

Worked with ukeg but barely. They are 2mm shorter than the ones shipped with ukeg so i can see them leaking if not shimmed. I put a small nylon washer in as shown. It was a little thick so i had to screw it together quickly since the cartraige was pierced just as the gasket was sealing. Lost one cartraige going too slow.

Purchased these and were disappointed with its quality and performance. A few didn't even have any air in the cartridge. Ordered threaded cartridges. Most were threaded but some were not. They were unthreaded, like mixed and match. Yet they were sent this way. Why? I do not know, but they all should have been threaded.

So far these are fine but if you are using these for cycling the outside of the cartridges will oxidize over time. I keep my spares kit in a small pouch that I keep in my jersey because I like to keep my bike free of extraneous items. I recently had to open the bag and found the two cartridges were covered in oxidation. This probably wont effect how they work but the oxidation could possibly make the seal between the cartridge and the valve has a less than perfect seal. How important is that? I don't know so that's why I reviewed it with a "it's okay" 3 stars. The price is good.

I bought these for a CO2 powered growler with keg tap. Upon receiving I immediately tested one cartridge, in a sense wasting it, but I wanted to make sure it did not shoot out any oil since it could end up in my beer. There was no oil so I can safely assume that these are indeed food safe. 30 should last me a long time and this was one of the best prices I found with positive reviews for threaded food safe CO2.

Great value but some seem to blast out all gas asnim threading them into regulator. Thus wasting some.
