Swing-N-Slide Heavy Duty Swing Seat, Blue

Perfect for us so far! Much more economical than buying a swing & set of chains separately. The yellow coated area of the chains is more than adequate! I don't see how you could possibly use the swing in a way that you would need to hold the chain above the coated area. I have crazy kids & even they haven't had a problem yet - forward, backward, upside-down, on thier bellies or standing up ;) And the portion of the chain that is not safety coated still has a great, smooth finish that looks as though it will resist rust. The swing seat itself looks to be very well made, is very sturdy, works great for the kids & can easily and comfortably hold an adult (as long as what you're hanging it on can support said weight). I can't speak about the other reviews claiming the safety coating to become melted & sticky, we have not had that problem or any other problem at this point, but I will be sure to update this review if anything changes. Definitely recommend, great buy!!!

We got a new swing set and needed a few swings for it. I had a baby bucket seat but my 2yo wanted her own big girl seat. I picked up another seat a few days after this one so will be comparing the two. The other one was $7 less so will take that into consideration. This seat says that it will hold up to 250lbs and so does the other one. One thing that the other one says on the bag is that it is meant for 3-10 yo. This one has information on the backside, It also has more plastic underneath so it looks heavier and stronger. The chains are both the same length and commercial grade and covered with a yellow plastic coating for comfort and safely. Overall I am very satisfied with this swing. It is perfect for our play set and the girls love it. I think that the this swing is a little better than the other one.

Love this swing, I bought it to replace a swing I just bought of my neighbor. I have been watching the antique archeology program with mike on direct tv. Myneighbor put a full classic swing set for sale, He said $30 and I said I'll take it. The neighbor said he had the swing for 10 years, and his gran kids out grew it. It was rustygold that needed some TLC. a little paint, and a new swing. THATS IT!! Well my little girl has been dying for a swing, so I bough it! Little did the neighbor know my husband is awesome a metal work. I had my husband cut the swing in 1/2 and then he powdercoated the swing to a shiny apple red. He took it to his shop and my swing looks like I paid at least$200. I simply replaced the10 YEAR SWING for a new one. I bought this one because the original swing had this brand on the swing. The old swing was still good but faded, so I replaced it to match the shiny swing. Very sturdy holds adults too. Has not faded Adjustable height, hook link where you want

I am very happy with these swings. I purchased two, to replace the older swings we had on our playground. The chain had broken on one of the older swings (while my daughter was swinging on it). As soon as I took these out of the box, I could not believe the difference. These swing seats are much better quality then the older ones we had. Both the chain and seat are significantly heavier and sturdier. They remind me of swings from public parks, except that the chains are easier to grip. Also, you can easily adjust the height of the swings. Lastly, my kids, who are 7 and 8 years old, and I sat comfortably on the swings. It was nice to see the kids playing again on the playground. Please note that the swing hangers (hooks) do not come in the box. So if you don't have them, you will need to purchase them separately. This did not effect us, as our playground already had the hooks.

This is a good product and is similar to the swings you find at your local park. Heavy duty. Recommended if you have a swinger in the house who is over 90 pounds. The lighter duty swings have a weakness in the design of the piece that attaches the chain to the plastic swing. The metal in the piece fails at one point if your swinging victim is too heavy. This failure is repeatable. In our case, this resulted in a drive to the local ER (with no real problems as a result!). So this heavy duty swing was the answer. The design is much better, the chain is heavy duty and the plastic coating is very nice. If you use this swing, you will need the heavy duty hangers for the top bar of your swing set as well.

These are great swings! We ordered 3 of these and will be ordering one more when it's time to replace the baby swing. They have been up for over a year, out in the Texas sun They have not rusted, tore, warped, or faded in that time. They are probably more heavy duty than the average family needs but they are perfect for us. The swingset gets used daily by my children and the rest of the kids on the street, so you can believe that the swings get abused quite a bit. These also hold a ton or weight. My husband is 250+ and these hold him no problem. I also often swind on these while holding a 2 year old on my lap and have not had any problems, which for me would be having my hips pinched...these are nice and wide!

I haven’t tried it yet because it did not come with a way to attach it. The current carabiners I have are too thick to fit in the chain. I am just replacing a seat and chain so I don’t need to buy the heavy duty swing hanger for it, like it suggest in the instructions. I’ll try to find carabiners suitable to fit the chain. Other than that, it is as expected. Thick plastic seat should handle the weight and last awhile. Way thicker than a standard one. The chain although thinner than I would like still feels like good quality. The yellow grip part is good. Definitely $30 worth. I’ll try to update on how it holds up and if I can find replacement carabiners.

The swing is exceptionally well-constructed, and the children are delighted with it.

I received the swing a little before the due date. I am very pleased with the swing! I like the fact that the chain has the plastic so my grandchildren can hold on & not hurt their hands. Great product!!!

Worth the money

Es general todo muy bien con el producto, tiene una buena distancia de las cadenas y tiene un excelente soporte. Llego tal cuál se ve en las fotos. Falta ver como nos va con el paso del tiempo al plastico que cubre la cadena porque creo que si se rompe fácilmente.

Would buy these swings again. Good value and good construction.
