This is a review of: Curiscope Virtuali-Tee: Educational Augmented Reality T-Shirt for AnatomyI cannot accurately evaluate this product. I gave it to my granddaughter for Christmas a couple of years ago.I’m embarrassed to say it has never been opened and is now lost. Additionally, my feelings are hurt. Sadly, my daughter-in-law picks and chooses the gifts that my granddaughter will have access to at that time. She decided this was too advanced and put it away. I think it is an awesome product; it would be educational and fun. I would purchase this product again for someone who would understand the value of this learning tool. The shirt fits as expected and is an AMAZING tool to use to explore the human body. I've used it on our classroom skeleton, I've worn it, and I've even used it laying flat on a table. The kids love using the app to see the organs working together in different ways. I do think the shirt is pricey, but at least the app is free, I guess? I would love to see the app add more "explorable" organs in the systems and also add more languages (although I think it has 6 functioning now, which is pretty awesome). I think one final way for this resource to stand out among educators would be for the company to publish free lesson plans or video exemplars of teachers using the shirts and apps on their website.

My son likes the shirt but the app isn't very good. The shirts do seem to run a little small, so get the next size up. The App is extremely slow on anything that isn't a flagship/high-end device. Unfortunately kids don't tend to have those. If you have a fire tablet or a Samsung tablet dont expect a good experience. Also it uses quite a bit of space on the device. Around 1Gb.

I’m using this with a group of 2nd graders for a body systems learning unit. This product really is amazing! The teaching team is super impressed. The content in the app in the different systems is excellent, and presented in a really engaging way. The 360 view is also an excellent feature that feels like a bonus in addition to the T-shirt AR. This was well worth the money and I’ll be buying more for the other teachers.

I absolutely love this! Being a science teacher, I’m always looking to incorporate modern tech into the classroom and this virtual exploration is so engaging. I purchased 3 shirts and rotated groups of students and made a question sheet to match! This is an amazing product and hopefully I will be able to purchase more next year so that my groups can be smaller for a better interaction. The small sizes work the best for the exploration.I wish companies could use this idea for other educational and science concepts!

I really thought this was a gimmick and would not work but it is absolutely amazing and everyone who sees it wants one. I got it for my med student daughter (aged 20) and it is the hit of the hospital!

Yes it is educational showing how the inside body organs work. Kids like it. BUT what you have know it you are not looking at the body wearing the T-shirt. You use the downloaded app to see a program showing you what the body does. You have to think how is the T-shirt able to look into the body. If still in doubt put it on a hanger scan it and see the same thing as on a body. But if the kids like the looks and it interest them, then go for it.

User friendly. Kids can use (5yr old). Gets a bit boring quickly.

Got this for my son who is doing GCSE Biology and it's an amazing concept - you put on the T shirt (covered in squares like QR codes) and then look at yourself using the app and it looks as if you can see inside your body - one view is the bone structure (ribs etc. ) and the other is the soft tissue (small intestines etc.). If you hold your finger over the camera it takes your heart beat and adds a heart beating to your own rhythm!! I think this could be just the start of a whole set of this kind of clothing. It's a bit weird to do this but it's very educational!! The T shirt looks great even without the app - just a funky design of boxes. Highly recommended.

T-shirt fits perfectly fine. It's a nice introduction to augmented reality t-shirts. It does have its issues and also good points though.GoodT-shirt and presentation box are of good qualityThe bits there are such as the digestion system or breathing system look very goodPossibly good for school as you'd be able to do the whole lesson in one 20 minute sectionBadThe app isn't great, any movement at all and it loses the augmented reality t-shirt so stand very still.Not a lot of content. For instance in the digestion system you can click on a couple of organs and see a short learning video clip.Probably won't be used a 2nd time

We have bought a few virtually Tee as a gift. Its very educative and interactive and everyone who got it loved it too.

The young 9 year old loved this. A really unusual gift which was thoroughly enjoyed. If you are looking for something different as a gift, this is ideal. So well presented in a lovely quality box.
