The WEN router delivers solid power and precision, making it a great tool for woodworking. It’s easy to use and offers adjustable settings, but ultimately, it wasn’t the right model for my needs. While it performed well, I needed different features, so I returned it for a better fit. Still, for the right user, it’s a reliable and budget-friendly option.

Great router. It came with a letter that said instead of using their template guide I could a plate that would let me use my own brass template guides. I have to hand it to Wen they listen and fix any problem the customers have. The new plate cost $10 but it is worth it. I highly recommend this router.

Solid purchase, cut through oak and pine just the same. I tried to bog it down and found it hard to do. Still going strong.

A lot of power (15 amps) for the price. It is heavy, so I decided to mount it in my Bosch router table and use the lighter, less powerful Bosch 1617 as a plunge router. Be aware that the collet cannot be mounted very close to the table top, so it is necessary to have extra-long bits to have enough usable cutting depth.

I don't think you'll find a less expensive plunge router. This worked perfect for my needs so far as an amateur. The rating probably would have been lower since unit did fail after a couple months but since customer service was so good, I'll leave the higher rating. (The stood by their product and replaced it)

Wow. Great deal. Not as fancy as my 1617EVS. Lots of plastic parts. Having said that, this is IDEAL for a router table or, as I use it, in a slab flattening jig. Decent speed control. Comes with some parts you likely won't ever use but the case is kind of nice for storage. I am impressed so far.

Love the power. The plunge is suspect and sticky, and not the best. But all things considered its doing what i want it to do at a good pricd.
