Easy One Touch Advanced CD Slot Car Phone Mount - Universal Cell Phone Holder for iPhone, Google, Samsung, LG, Moto and All Other Smartphones

Installed in my 2010 Honda fit. I have the cigarette lighter powered Bluetooth rf streamer so I needed a mount that would put my phone in arms reach. It installs easy and is sturdy. Build quality seems to be good. It's stable and has good amount of rotation. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a solid mount. I have a bigger Galaxy phone for your info.

I was intrigued that I could slide the base into my CD player of the car. I don't really listen to CDs so it's a perfect space. Once it is slid into the CD player it holds sturdy. I found vent clip units flimsy and although Goo Gone works to remove the ones you stick to the dash, it still leaves some marks. That said it's a very convenient unit. It holds the phone securely and has open space for the auxiliary connector and the charger. I also like that it keeps the phone from being in direct sunlight. It sits in front of the vent and stays cool. It does sit in front of my radio dial which is digital, so I can't really see the level of my volume, but I can work with that.

The holder seems to work fine, and easily accommodates my Pixel 9Pro. The part that fit into the CD slot (yes, my car is that old) was very curved, I assume to make it fit more securely. I had to flatten it by hand to get it to fit into the slot. The "push-to-secure" function that holds the phone works well. I dinged it 1/2 star because in my bouncy car on my crappy roads, it vibrates enough to be annoying. OK for basic navigation but if you need to read a street name or such it can be difficult. I dinged a second 1/2 start because Amazon sent one with a big sticker on the box thanking me for saving landfill space by buying an "Amazon refurbished product", even though the listing did not mention that it was refurbished (nor does the "Buy It Again). I'm actually really pissed about it, and may return it to Amazon for that reason.

Lasted 4 months and then the part that fits into the cd player broke. That part is very flimsy and of poor design making it a sure breaking point. Given how nicely the rest of the holder is made, I don't understand why they went so cheap on the mount.

This the second one I have bought. I am very happy with this product. No adhesives, no fuss, easy to put together. The last one i bought lasted for a couple of years. The little ball on the back, that attachment lost traction for some reason so the phone no longer stayed in position but I got two years out of it so still 5 star. I mean, I am buying it again!! This holds the phone securely without having to block an a/c vent or roast your phone with the heater vent in winter. However, the plastic has some flexibility and on any sort of uneven road the phone is flopping and rattling like crazy. If you are talking on speaker the person on the other end of the line will hear constant rattling noise unless you hold the phone steady with one hand. If you are driven insane by any rattling noises while driving this may cause you to lose your mind. Many times I’ve noticed it sitting perfectly still and quiet if the road is smooth. Once hot weather is over I’ll switch back to the windshield mount (it melts off in the heat).

I have a 2011 car with no aux accept a cord and no where to put my phone because my dash is rounded at every angle. This thing is a life saver. I tried about 4-5 other ones before I found this. I’ve had it for 4 months now and it’s sooo worth it. wasn’t sure how I would feel about a CD player holder but it’s extremely stable, functions well, hold your phone perfectly, and best of all connects no matter your phone case. You don’t need MagSafe for this to work like so many of the others out there. And you don’t have to put a magnet in your case either. If you need a phone holder. Buy this one. You won’t be disappointed.

Works as described. I've never had it fall out, but just need to ensure every now and again that it is pressed in as can vibrate out. Can't change radio stations when it is in either which is annoying when travelling.

This one actually works! Holds my phone securely, even with a case on. Easy to mount and adjust, and no issues with it falling off. Way better than the weak magnet version of this I tried before.

I ordered the cd slot mount. The sealed box pictured the cd slot, exactly what I ordered. The lock and release mechanism was as expected; worked great, easy and quick one handed operation, just what I’ve been looking for. However, the mount and instruction booklet were for an air vent mount. I’ve asked for a replacement rather than a refund. 3 stars because the mechanism that holds the phone is exactly what I want, not 5 because I haven’t had a chance to install and use it yet. Hopefully my replacement has everything it’s supposed to.
