iOttie Easy One Touch Advanced CD Slot Car Phone Mount - Universal Cell Phone Holder for iPhone, Google, Samsung, LG, Moto and All Other Smartphones

Installed in my 2010 Honda fit. I have the cigarette lighter powered Bluetooth rf streamer so I needed a mount that would put my phone in arms reach. It installs easy and is sturdy. Build quality seems to be good. It's stable and has good amount of rotation. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a solid mount. I have a bigger Galaxy phone for your info.

This the second one I have bought. I am very happy with this product. No adhesives, no fuss, easy to put together. The last one i bought lasted for a couple of years. The little ball on the back, that attachment lost traction for some reason so the phone no longer stayed in position but I got two years out of it so still 5 star. I mean, I am buying it again!! Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She is driving a 2007 bare bones Toyota and after reading the reviews decided this was the best option for her. She was putting her phone in a cup holder that was dashboard level but when the heat was on, the heat coming through the vents would make her phone overheat. She doesn't use CD's so figured this was a good option to use this space. She didn't think it fit originally because the mounting bracket that inserts into the cd slot is at a curved angle. If you look at the Amazon's pictures in the item description, it does say to flatten the mount bracket. (This piece is quite sturdy to "flatten" so I don't see how that is possible.) I did get this mounted into the CD slot with direct pressure and I think it is going to work quite well for her. Rating it 4 stars for now as I think the value is great for the price and for the features. If she tells me it is wonderful, I will bump it up to 5 stars. I will also take some pics to add to my review.

First, the positive stuff - Phone cradle is quite good, tight grip on phone but not so tight that it leaves indentations on the phone case. The swivel works smoothly and stays where you want it. Now the deal breakers and why I returned it. Your experience might vary based on your car's cd player but the attachment piece that slides into the cd slot damaged my cd player face plate when I took it out. The felt in the cd player slot broke off too. It's waaaay too snug. When you insert a cd into my player, the player has a mechanism that helps you out a bit by pulling in the disc slightly. I didn't realize this mechanism would be constantly tripped by the phone holder attachment. It causes the cd player to try to pull it in constantly. It never goes off. So yeah. Returned. Make sure this won't damage your player before you order.

I have a 2011 car with no aux accept a cord and no where to put my phone because my dash is rounded at every angle. This thing is a life saver. I tried about 4-5 other ones before I found this. I’ve had it for 4 months now and it’s sooo worth it. wasn’t sure how I would feel about a CD player holder but it’s extremely stable, functions well, hold your phone perfectly, and best of all connects no matter your phone case. You don’t need MagSafe for this to work like so many of the others out there. And you don’t have to put a magnet in your case either. If you need a phone holder. Buy this one. You won’t be disappointed.

I like this product a lot. But there's a problem. In the product description it says it is compatible with all smartphones even with a thick case. Well, with my Google pixel pro, The arms that hold the phone in place cover the volume buttons on the phone. So, I can't adjust the volume on the phone without removing it. Other than that, It fits securely into the CD slot in my car. And does not fall out. My phone snaps into place in the holder very nicely and is held securely and is never fallen out. I'm able to adjust the angle of the holder so that I can view the phone easily while I'm driving.

Had this item for a couple of months now. Use it often for trips to Providence where I use my GPS to tell me if there are any traffic tie ups. It is the most solid, easiest to use, easy to install in relation to location of CD player. May impede view of dashboard instruments depending on car model.

Works as described. I've never had it fall out, but just need to ensure every now and again that it is pressed in as can vibrate out. Can't change radio stations when it is in either which is annoying when travelling.

This one actually works! Holds my phone securely, even with a case on. Easy to mount and adjust, and no issues with it falling off. Way better than the weak magnet version of this I tried before.

Yes, but I think it is overpriced

I ordered the cd slot mount. The sealed box pictured the cd slot, exactly what I ordered. The lock and release mechanism was as expected; worked great, easy and quick one handed operation, just what I’ve been looking for. However, the mount and instruction booklet were for an air vent mount. I’ve asked for a replacement rather than a refund. 3 stars because the mechanism that holds the phone is exactly what I want, not 5 because I haven’t had a chance to install and use it yet. Hopefully my replacement has everything it’s supposed to.
