Best pliers ever used
I was actually surprised at the quality of these pliers. After frustration with several other pair of "durable" pliers, I finally got this pair. If you are buying pliers to install speakers for grandma, these are not for you. They are too expensive. But if you are buying them for continuous use and you want something that will cut through both solid and stranded wire cables without making burrs and that will last years, these are a great candidate. I have used them for a month and they still feel like new. I doubt I will ever have to buy another pair of pliers. What impressed me was: smooth friction-free operation (NO stiffness out of the box), gap-free cutting to provide clean burr-free cuts, and good jaw gripping pattern to eliminate slipping.

Great quality pliers
These are the best pliers I own, hands down. I have more than a few other pairs, and this set is now my go-to set. To me they are worth the price. They have no slop, and are very smooth and easy to use. They are very high quality and are highly recommended.2021 Update: More than two years later these pliers are still fantastic. Smooth action, cutoff blades are still sharp, absolutely the best pliers I own.

These are great pliers
I used these around the house some so far, they easily cut anything I have needed to, even PEX tubing cleanly and ready for a sharkbite. I also used some crimp connectors, and of course they work great. Very comfortable to use too. My first scheduled job since getting these is early Jan, I'm definitely going to have to etch my initials on these before bringing them onsite. I'm sure I'll be asked where to get these - I'll send them here.

Great tool
Awesome quality. Took a little bit to get used to the shorter handles. As always I’m not let down by the few Japanese made tools I own. Handles are different but comfortable. Cutters are amazing and the pliers grip awesome. Big change from the Klein/Knipex that I have always used

Not good
Sad to see how much these pliers sucked and how expensive they were Honestly cutting normal copper #4 with these pliers was an effort in itself would not recommend anyone to buy

Very nice high quality Lineman's pliers.
I purchased these for my husband who is currently wiring a project car. He is very impressed with these pliers, they are very substantial feeling when holding, the edges are razor sharp for cutting and he liked the wire stripper and the crimping slot. These are a much nicer quality then other wire cutters he has and was happy to receive these.

Meh
These are more homeowner grade pliers. If you're an electrician, stick with knipex or Klein. I tried them out because they had great reviews but once they arrived I was not impressed. The handles are super cheap feeling, and while the blade is insanely sharp and gives you a good cut, that's about all its good for.
