Montana Woodworks Glacier Country Collection Bed with Storage, Twin

my husband and i love the bed, it was exactly what we were looking for! Great workmanship. Our only complaint is that the frame doesn't attach to the drawers. that would make a more solid/sturdy frame. if the bed isn't pushed up fully against the wall it is a little wobbly. We have a window partly behind our bed and the pane wouldn't allow it to be flush which is a problem for the bed stability. But once we reorganized the other room furniture we were able to move the bed to be fully against the wall and pushed the drawers up against the headboard. Now the bed is super solid. all in all we love it.

I was concerned about how I would ever get the bed out of my driveway and into my bedroom, but it was surprisingly easy to move the individual parts, and assembly was simple. The only problem with Montana Woodworks is that once you’ve seen their handiwork, you’ll need to come back for more. Fantastic stuff!

This is a beautiful bed! Having seen the lodge pole pine trees in Montana for myself through my many travels there in recent years, (along with those massive amounts destroyed by the beetle), and having a bed made from these recycled trees, gives me great personal meaning and satisfaction! This bed is authentic...one can see even see the paths the beetle has made throughout the logs! The bed arrived long before the promised date and was VERY heavy!!! It took the Fed Ex person and myself to both carry the head and foot boards to my door. My only complaint is that some of the logs in the head and foot frames have large splits in them, and while this is authentic, it isn't always aesthetic. One-of-a-kind, and definitely a conversation piece with an incredible backstory!
