I've spent a lot of time trying to find good deck screws. I started off with Deckmate polymer coated Torx screws from Home Depot. Then the price went up and I started shopping around again and eventually found Hillman polymer coated screws at a good price on Amazon. Very slightly lighter gauge (a little weaker as a result) but similar quality.12 years after I put new boards on my deck, it's started to show sign of rot, so I started pulling boards and I was dismayed to find that the screws were badly rusted. Many of them just sheered on me.I'd previously looked for stainless steel deck screws and they were really just too expensive. Then I found some that were expensive but affordable. I bookmarked them for future reference.When the deck got too bad I went back to check my bookmark and was about buy but decided to do some more searches on Amazon. Nothing really doing but suddenly these popped up as related item.These are much cheaper, coming in at about only double the price of polymer screws rather than triple or more.These are #10 instead of #9 which is better for me.I've just started using them and I'm really pleased. Well made and good thick threads. I'm hoping that whenever I have to pull these boards again (ugh), they'll come out in decent shape and won't break off.

I expected good fastener material and it was delivered. I’ll purchase this product again for my next project.

The product is good, but there should be a package of several bits with the screws because they wear out quickly

I like these screws so far. They drive in well with the attached bit. No slipping or stripping. Time will tell how well they hold up in tough conditions, but during construction they've been great to work with and initially I am pleased.

used to install 7.25" wide X 12' cement composite siding. EXCELLENT true stainless non magnetic. very satisfied with the performance. The 100 count package had 100 pieces. But as I say this is exactly what I wanted because #8 was not necessary and frankly over-sized for the application. So it was a small job and worth the little bit extra to use an american designed made in Taiwan product of the size I was looking for. Just not a great value, fair but not great.

These are the best screws money can buy. Try a box on your next project and you won’t be disappointed. Initially I was apprehensive because of the price, but once I used them, there was immediate difference in the quality of these things. No stripping or bending and drives smooth from start to finish.

I ordered these screws because my order for marine screws went walkabout somewhere and I ran out of time to wait for another. These were available quickly, thus 1 star. I am using them to install a dock (2 x 6s). They come with their own star driver which is good. It also confirms that they are high-torque fasteners (and because they are deck screws they have to be so that the heads will sink below the surface of the wood planks. The first few drove fine. Then several snapped before the heads sank. I have to remove them with a drill bit (super hard bit) and an extractor. Crap! Very, very unhappy. I have a box of useless screws and about 2 hours of work facing me.

I used 3.5 boxes of these screws and not one twisted off. Love the torx t25 head. Used the same t25 bit for the whole job. Cedar decking over pressure treated joists. Great product at a fair price.
