Recently bought something that stunk up my room and closet. Hanging up these bags all around my room and closet made a noticeable difference. It actually works so well that it also erases any good smelling fragrances. I have yankee candle scents from costco that I hung up in my closet, the smell from those are also gone in addition to the bad smell I was trying to get rid of. It just smells like nothing in my room now, which I guess is good? 5 stars for being effective.

I left a vegetable in the veggie drawer when we went on an extended vacation. We always dump our ice cubes (side-by-side, built in fridge), and I was surprised that they tasted 'funny' the next day. Then I noticed a chemical/medicinal/weird smell every time I opened the fridge door. The power had gone out for 4 days in-between. Well we cleaned it all out--I mean EVERYTHING, including cleaning labels of bottles, etc. And by "we", I pretty much mean my husband did it all. The smell/taste stubbornly remained. We put a bowl of baking soda in the fridge--no luck. Then I got these and *bam* - smell was gone. Fridge saved!! These can be "recharged" by putting in sunshine for 1/2 hour too, so they will last forever, and they fit nicely wherever I put them. Worth every penny for sure, so easy to use (although I doubt they'd have worked without cleaning.) I have some in another place and they work there too so good quality, have recharged previously and they do continue to perform. Even come with hangers when needed. Highly recommend~!

Using these for covering litter box smell. Doesn't really work. May work for other things.

I've been buying these Charcoal Odor Absorbers for about 6 years now. They are WAY smaller now than they were previously. Three stars because they really do work well to eliminate odors but there will also be less coverage area which means you have to buy more bags to cover larger rooms.

It works great like I expected get rid of smells take a lot of time at first otherwise great to use

I love these, they definitely work! I have one in the fridge, one by the garbage, one in the bathroom, 2 in one bedroom and 1 in the other bedroom. They are discreet and work well. I will purchase more in the future!

We had lost power while on vacation and everything in the fridge and freezer spoiled and was sooo smelly. I had tried washing the fridge with bleach water, putting coffee grounds in both freezer and fridge, using a box of baking soda, and also a vanilla soaked cotton ball, but the terrible smell persevered. I was reluctant to try these but am glad i made the purchase. We put one in the fridge and it removed the smell of pungent fruits (e.g. rockmellon). We also put one in the car and laundry and its been great.
