Because of the layout of our house, we needed to put our cat’s litter box in our primary bedroom closet. Although we keep it very clean, there was always a little louder. That’s why I bought these and have had them two days and they have helped immensely! Even my husband noticed that it smelled better. I would highly recommend them. We have also put them in other areas around the house, other closets in the laundry room.

I left a vegetable in the veggie drawer when we went on an extended vacation. We always dump our ice cubes (side-by-side, built in fridge), and I was surprised that they tasted 'funny' the next day. Then I noticed a chemical/medicinal/weird smell every time I opened the fridge door. The power had gone out for 4 days in-between. Well we cleaned it all out--I mean EVERYTHING, including cleaning labels of bottles, etc. And by "we", I pretty much mean my husband did it all. The smell/taste stubbornly remained. We put a bowl of baking soda in the fridge--no luck. Then I got these and *bam* - smell was gone. Fridge saved!! These can be "recharged" by putting in sunshine for 1/2 hour too, so they will last forever, and they fit nicely wherever I put them. Worth every penny for sure, so easy to use (although I doubt they'd have worked without cleaning.) I have some in another place and they work there too so good quality, have recharged previously and they do continue to perform. Even come with hangers when needed. Highly recommend~!

Using these for covering litter box smell. Doesn't really work. May work for other things.

I've been buying these Charcoal Odor Absorbers for about 6 years now. They are WAY smaller now than they were previously. Three stars because they really do work well to eliminate odors but there will also be less coverage area which means you have to buy more bags to cover larger rooms.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Actually works for litter box odor I have a kitten who refuses to cover her poop in the litter box (cat owners know how awful that smell can be). Even though I scoop the box multiple times a day, the odor would still travel through the upstairs and sometimes even downstairs. It was honestly exhausting trying to keep the house smelling normal. I decided to try these bamboo charcoal bags and placed them around the house: • 1 in the laundry room where the litter box is • 1 in the hallway • 1 in the living room • 1 in the kitchen They were delivered Wednesday morning around 9am. By the time my husband got home from work around 6pm, I asked him if he could smell the litter box and he said he couldn’t smell it at all. That alone sold me. The odor elimination is seriously impressive. Instead of masking the smell like sprays do, these actually seem to absorb it. The air in the house feels noticeably fresher and we’re no longer dealing with that lingering litter box smell. If you have cats — especially a kitten who refuses to bury their business like mine — these are absolutely worth trying!

Recently bought something that stunk up my room and closet. Hanging up these bags all around my room and closet made a noticeable difference. It actually works so well that it also erases any good smelling fragrances. I have yankee candle scents from costco that I hung up in my closet, the smell from those are also gone in addition to the bad smell I was trying to get rid of. It just smells like nothing in my room now, which I guess is good? 5 stars for being effective.

These work. Simple as that, they work. My daughter‘s bedroom had a musty smell for 15 years. I tried everything. I tried raw onions we even had it repainted. I put baking soda under her bed. Nothing worked. I bought these and within a day the smell is gone. My bedroom also had a yeasty smell. I googled it and it said it’s probably some type of fungus. I was reluctant to try these but am glad i made the purchase. We put one in the fridge and it removed the smell of pungent fruits (e.g. rockmellon). We also put one in the car and laundry and its been great.
