EK Success Modern Festive Pinwheel Kit

I disagree with some of the other reviews as I found these very easy to put together after I figured out the first one (via the instructions, no less). Colors are pretty accurate as shown, except the pink is a bit lighter. The length of the pinwheel spoke was longer than I would have liked, but I suppose they could be tested. I used mine for decoration (made a bouquet in a mason jar), not for kids to play with so I can't speak to the durability from that angle. I was pretty rough with the paper while I was putting these together and caused no tears or folds, so I would say this is a great quality product for the price.

These pinwheels are very cute and somewhat easy to assemble. I purchased them to include in the centerpieces for my son's birthday party. They will work really well as centerpieces, but they do not smoothly spin like some of the more unattractive, plastic pinwheels. If it's a cute look you're going for, then these are great. They are high-quality, stiff paper so they stay together well. The design is cute and colorful.

I selected this "kit" because no matter how I folded my paper, I couldn't get the pinwheels to spin like they should. BUT, after you hang carefully onto the paper to push the plastic pins through the holes, the paper gets too weak to hold up!! If you do actually buy this, reinforce the holes BEFORE you start. Improvising, I put small squares of tape over the holes---several on each-front and back--and punched through with a hole punch. We will sprinkle gletter or something and at least the FOUR i have should work---dumbest purchase I've made in a while. Cmon Martha, dont go dollar store now.This is not even worth one dollar(embarrassed to say what I gave for it)--all you get is 6 pre-cut pieces of paper, maybe 6 sticks, and I only got 4 plastic pins to hold onto the sticks--which are worthless with out the connecting pins----frustated and disappointed. I wanted a cute decoration for my grandsons birthday party. I thought the Martha Stewart name on it meant something??!?

I had a couple small issues with the parts but actually these were very cute and when put together they were just as nice as bought ones except they were paper, not plastic. I think I just happened to get a package that was opened so there was parts problems. The product itself was good.

I used this kit before, overall it's a good kit because it has all the parts to make the pinwheels. The only problem I had with this order it was that I ordered few packages and one of them was missing pieces. Luckily, I didn't need an exact number.

I was surprised by the quality of these. Yes, it was kind of a pain to assemble them, but they were really nice, sturdy, and spun well when I was done. You can mix and match them by folding the patterned side in or out. I got several other items from this MS line - the big poufy tissue paper balls, the pennant, the coasters, and some of the plates and such. I've used them as decorations at a baby shower, a bridal shower, and a little girl's birthday party. I put these in some brightly colored glass vases I have - reusable and cheaper than flowers!

These were mainly for decor but the kids liked them so much they went home as party favors. They do not spin swiftly as most pinwheels do but these were still a big hit. I did have to reinforce the hole punches with tape as they easily tore during assembly.

I honestly wish I could have just bought these rather than bought a kit and put them together. The directions are a little unclear and putting the pinwheel together is a little cumbersome.The finished product is so cute and adorable, I forgave the tedious assembly.
