Review: Very good book! - My child was having difficulty in remembering or understanding the concept of sequences in a story - would skip the most of the details and skip to the end too quickly, missing the main parts. This book taught the basics. + The fundamental idea of "this happened, then this happened, then this happened and finally this!!" to illustrate the details can be conveyed easily. + Good for beginning readers to associate words with pictures. + Good cut and paste exercise. A good all-in-one exercise! Review: Cutting, sequencing, matching, gluing and coloring..WOW! - This is definitely a way to help a PreK towards reading. Learning to cut w/scissors then sequence the sentences and finally match them to a story is wonderful. So many steps in learning other skills too. Even gluing the sentences takes precision! Then they get to color the story...putting the page on our frig gallery completes the exercise!!!!

Good for early reading comprehension skills.
I use this book with special education students. It's great for sequencing, and for matching text to the correct picture.

Should have passed
Rated for grades 1-3 , but should be more like k-1 or 2. Good practice, but was hoping for increasing difficulty with longer stories toward the back. Nope.

Makes kids want to learn!
The idea of cutting and pasting or gluing, is appealing to children and causes them to want to learn! My little one loved this book, and was finished with this one faster than any other workbook I have bought her. She didn't just rush through it without learning, she actually learned!

Excellent activity to build sequencing reading skill
I love this cut and paste activity. My special education students cannot write, making this a great learning tool for them. The images are cute and we love coloring them in, and my students are able to practice using context clues to sequence the story.

I was able to use this book immediately! Love it when I find what I need!
This is a hit! It allows me to monitor several comprehension categories like, reading and sequencing, while still not frustrating my students who need the practice and repetition independently

Help to learn sequences
Lovely pictures to try and keep children's interest. To extend hand to eye co-ordination children can colour the pictures in. I would imagine this would be more interesting to children who can read but this is still a good way to teach words have meaning. Using scissors also will aid fine motor actions.
