Did not use this as of yet but if it is similar to the other Mastercool Flaring tools I expect a good easy flare>

I bought this kit to add to my 45 degree kit so I can also do 37 degree flares but I noticed you only need square dies and the 37 degree cone the silver plunger for all the sizes is the same 45 degrees plunger die that comes in any 45 degree set The silver plungers are 45 degrees (as shown in picture) The cone is 37 degree And all the square dies are 37 degrees (as shown in picture) So if you already have a 45 degree set you only need the 37 degree cone and the 37 degree square dies for whatever size you plan to do. Picture with all part numbers This kit fits any hand hydraulic. The kit is priced decently Quick and easy to make 37 degree flares It functions as any 45° set, just for 37 degrees Fast and easy to use

Great tools, I just wish there were slots provided in the case of the complete tool set , for these to be stored in. If not, then for the price there should have been a comparable blow-molded case for the extra dies. C'mon guys, a little common sense goes a long way here. Great tools, but you let us down on the storage aspects. Gotta protect my pricey tools! Got it?

I have the Mastercool 45 degree set and started working with AN fittings. AN fittings are 37 degree not 45 degree. Was pleased to find that all I needed was a die set. I tried out the 5/16 and 3/8 dies and they work great.

Man, I use the heck out of these things! I bought them as an add on to complete my Mastercool flare kit. These things are great quality, never slip on the hard line and work on Aluminum, CuNi, steel, and even really hard Stainless steel. Prettiest flares you've ever seen! Just remember to put the nut and sleeve on first... and face the sleeve in the right direction too.. Lol...

Pretty good quality tool to use for doing Aircraft style flairs. only bitch i have is that they dont come in there own case. they are individually packaged and if you dont dedicate a spot for them in your tool box you could lose them. I would sweriously hope that at some point the design a blow moulded plastic case to store these fine tools.

Works great on ss making hydraulic fittings. 37 degrees. Doesn't come with the hydraulic hand machine but I already had that tool.

I have formed 37 degree double flare ends onto several diameters of steel, aluminum and stainless tubing with our real issue. My biggest initial issue was that I would apply too much force with the cone (second step) on aluminum tubing and mushroom the tubing such that it would not fit inside the tube nut. Once I eased off a bit compressing the flare, the ends form fine.

Took awhile to get here but great tools from mastercool. I stripped the bubble (clamp) dies trying to do 3/8 stainless. It was .49 wall and way too thick. Should be able to handle .28 stainless. The does still work but leave marks on tubing now. Guess we’ll see how there warranty is.

The Mastercool kit is an addition to my existing Mastercool tools - brilliant tools to give a perfect finished result. The exceptional bit is that Amazon Prime facilitated getting this kit from Texas to Melbourne, Australia in four days and at a VERY good price! Amazon Prime has opened up a trustworthy international buying avenue for me I did not know existed. Well done.

The actual tool was and worked as expected, it did a great job flaring hydraulic lines to connect to jic fittings. The only down side is that there is no case for all the pieces and there is no place to put them in the master set. So a case included would be a great asset

You would think you are buying a top line tool and paying this much for it you would have a box to store it in. I have the full set with the press and everuthing but there is no room to put these in it and the item doesnt come with a molded case or anythig. Non even available to pirchace separatley. These are not cheap so you want to have a storage made for them. Good job mastertools 🙁
