Best generation yet.
These are my favorite. I’ve bought three pairs in six years. I’ve never had to replace one for failure. I just lose them. Also I have them stashed in several handy places as well as keeping one in my pocket.

Works Surprisingly Well
I was looking for an inexpensive flashlight that would have more than one beam selection, bright and not so bright. An aluminum housing for durability and offered the ability to be a stand-up as a work light or hanging work light. No bigger than it had to be absolutely rechargeable with my phone cord. This light is it and even more. In comparison, it is far less expensive than any I found offering what this light does. No comparison. It comes with two beam brightness and a side-mounted light that could flood my work area. To escape the multi-selection beam just hold down the on/off button for a few seconds and it goes out. Unexpectedly, it will also zoom in the beam with an exterior slide toward the front of the light and the tail end has a maginant to hang it or stand it up on a surface. No metal surface to stick the light to? Just grag a flat piece of metal junk and provide your own magnetic surface. Bought two for less than I've paid for a single aluminum flashlight. This light does it all. I keep one on my desk charger for the house and the other in my vehicle on a charger for away uses.

Still works after 5 years
Pretty good little flashlights! I bought these 5 and a half years ago and they still work! However, they aren't without their problems and that's why I'm writing a review now. Let's get the PROs out of the way first: They're relatively lightweight, standard EDC size, very bright, and last a decent amount of time between charges depending on usage and brightness. The side light is particularly handy with the magnet or just sticking out of a shirt pocket, or clipped to a belt/hat. Now the CONs: The batteries tend to be the weak point. When I first purchased these, one battery charged and discharged normally. The second one didn't seem to charge rather quickly, but if you unplugged and then replugged the charger to the battery, the green light would turn red and charge for an additional couple hours. My theory is the charging apparatus on a few units is somewhat faulty AND may be loose inside the unit. I've tightened some of the internal springs for the battery and also replaced the OG batteries since they finally wouldnt hold a charge after 5 years. Seemed to help

Bright that’s for sure.
They work as advertised. Charging time seems a bit long for the initial first time. Batteries are replaceable if you need to replace them. I have stand by batteries just in case I need the light and don’t have time to wafer a recharge.

Not Bad (for the price)
Have been using this flashlight steadily on the job, as an electrician, for about 3 weeks. It isn't nearly as bright as the one I was using before. But, it's OK. That's it, just OK. The COB light isn't as bright as I would like, and that's the greatest disappointment. I frequently need to work in poorly lit area of homes and businesses, and a good strong magnetic base and bright COB light are necessary, especially when checking live circuitry. And, Yes, I know I can always purchase a larger flashlight or a larger dedicated area light with some kind of magnetic base. This would work from a lighting standpoint. But when troubleshooting circuits, the process usually requires quite a bit of moving around from point to point, and the more items you need to carry, the more cumbersome the process becomes. Also, I want something that can be easily carried in a pocket, not so large it only fits easily in a tool bag. The battery life seems to be about average for most of these types of lights. I use them a LOT! So, it's not uncommon for me to recharge weekly or sometimes in a few days. I usually have at least 1 extra fully charged battery in the truck, and changing the battery is a very simple task. The magnet is fine for the weight of the flashlight. I attach it to metal beams, furnace ducts, and other convenient metal surfaces, and the light has never fallen of from its own weight. Has been knocked off more than once and still continues to perform. One little gripe... When the light is focued on the smallest beam width, the LEDs are visible as shadows on the far-away object you are trying to see. Sometimes this makes identifying the object 50 feet away, above the suspended ceilings difficult. But mostly it;s not a big deal. All-n all, for the money, is an OK flashlight.

Needs recharged daily
This product is very convenient. It's small enough to fit in your pocket, bright enough to use in place of a large hand torch, and the magnet allows you top use the side light to light up a large area. The small size only works against it in that it really only works for a single night's use, but if you simply cage it next to your cell phone you're set!

Great work light.
I am an Electro mechanic, which means I am a factory electrician, and I also do maintenance. I love the magnet which allows me to attach the flashlight to the machine while I work. I also like how the flashlight has a light on the side. This allows me to direct the light where needed. I like how I have two of them which allows one to be charging at all times and ready when needed.
