Excellent uniball substitute
This is at least as good as the Uniball variant. Very smooth riding, excellent longevity, and all together highly recommended.

Okay for school use, but not perfect
These pens are okay for my Year Five child since her school requires blue ink, and they do write smoothly. She’s left-handed, which makes it hard to find pens that don’t smudge, but unfortunately these still smudge quite a bit, and in her opinion, the writing doesn’t look neat. They feel comfortable enough to hold, but overall, she didn’t find them very useful for her daily writing. Considering the price, they’re not particularly cheap for what they are. So while they work in a pinch, I wouldn’t call them a great buy, especially if you’re looking for pens suitable for left-handed children.
