If you have a lot of hard drives laying around, you should protect them from dust and static. This box offers the perfect solution and protecting them if they get dropped. Nevermind these have keys to lock them, they look really cheap and I would probably lose them anyway so I just left them inside with the latches unlocked. The extra padding is nice and still roomy enough to fit each drive in an anti static bag and still insert them into this case. I like the fact this case also can store smaller 2.5 inch drives as well. I did this for a friend who needed backups of their files and it seems to work best to not only store each drive, but also organize them for future use. Great deal!

I am shockingly pleased with how well made this hard drive case is, I have been looking for storage for three and a half and two and a half inch hard drives for a good while now and most of the listings that I have found previously were well over $60 even on AliExpress, it seems like it has good padding definitely not going to be adequate if you're going to put it on an airplane or really move it more than to your car and home, I do not think that it would do much against a decently hard impact but I definitely think that it is a great way to store hard drives if you have an access that are just stacked on top of each other

Very good. I can be a little stingy with 5-stars, but it's a good product. I mean, it's not military grade or anything. I don't even know how it would fare if dropped from a height and squashed... but heck, it's for holding hard drives, so you shouldn't be abusing it anyway! So expect a reasonable amount of durability and protection, but nothing that will survive Armageddon. The 3.5" drive lots work great for all standard thicknesses of drives. The 2.5" slots are small - only for bare drives or very thin external SSD drives. Standard 2.5 drives with pretty much any case won't fit. The padding is high-density foam - I would have preferred something a bit softer and more flexible to better absorb any impacts, but this looks professional and should work well for any modest shocks. 4.5 stars

Very happy with this product it works well the ease of use of it is great. it was a little bit bigger to fit in the area I was wanting to fit it in but that's my problem. and not the products issue because I didn't measure correctly LOL. I don't blame the product for not being able to fit where I wanted to put it because the dimensions were clearly marked. the protection level is very very good the drives do not rattle around I do wish there was some documentation including with the thing to describe where I should put the drives whether it should be connector or face up or connect your face down to protect against static electricity. I don't think static electricity would be a problem but I would like to know that it has room for I think eight drives and two 2.5-in drives right now I have a five drives full.it'll fit as little as one terabyte or 500 GB drives but also it fits all the way up to 20 terabyte drives of which I have two. and those two are a little bit snug but they do fit very well. thank God for standardized parameters of Drive sizes that's one thing I love so much about computer parts everything standardized according to International conventions. so that's great it does resist a little bit when you want to close it all the way but that's not a bad thing because it has that eggshell pfoam that's doesn't push too hard you can definitely shut it easily, but it holds the dries very snug. Which is great. a little fact is it does come with two keys to lock it however the keys are in the Center Drive area .so make sure to pull those out before you put a drive in. it does latch very well usually if I'm in the process of using it I'll just close it and latch one end just so I can get into it easily again but it holds the whole thing shut well. very happy with this oh also the foam I believe is either CNC or laser cut foam which is a step above the pre-cut you tear out to discern the size you need by the little square cut foam that's the main reason I purchased this product because the foam was pre-cut and it looked to be solid EVA foam and I'm much happier with this product than I have been with products in the past. the thickness of the box is all right ,I mean it's aluminum I would assume or maybe some sort of zinc material not 100% sure on that I believe it does have steel fasteners. and I suppose obviously I'm not going to test it because it has about $2,000 was a hard drives in it but I do think it would survive a fall well. the handle is very sturdy ,and if you're going to put it in somewhere account for the handle because it raises the height by about a half inch in the center. and that's why it didn't fit where I wanted to put it LOL I'd estimate the weight of it to be about 2 lb but it feels sturdy it doesn't feel cheap which is good but it also doesn't feel abnormally heavy either.

Well built, great way to store 2.5 and 3.5 hard drives for data storage and/or future use. Used the extra slots to store USB flash drives.

This item is not made very sturdy and look lppk vert cheaply made.

I am a media creator (especially video) so I need to store large amounts of data for my clients as well as myself. I repurpose old Hard Drives to save money and archive all footage. This box allows me to safely store them and forget about it. I do not use the keys/lock mechanism as there is no sensitive material but I tried it out and they seem to be functioning properly. Other Hard Drive boxes cost much more but this one seems to be well manufactured.

Needed an inexpensive storage container for some old NAS HDD's I'm retiring - they fit snugly in the box, closes properly, locks properly (little finicky but works). Quality seems mediocre, mine also had a bunch of dried on glue on the outside that's been a pain to try and get off. Overall I'm satisfied with what I received.
