Hope they would allow non MS Store software to run on this device
Only two positive things - Great touchscreen comparing to other 'Whiteboard' solutions - Clean build. Cons: Only software from Microsoft Store can be installed. We using zoom extensively and there is no option to run it on this hardware at the moment. Some Microsoft applications do not exists : Notes. e.g. if you take notes on other divice these can't be access from surface instead they have different program for that. Battery is extra 1500 USD. We purchased 2 of these outside of Amazon. And I don't see people using these at all. While 'homemade' touchscreen with Windows PC being used every day.

The potential is there but watch out for the gotchas...
The company I work for purchased the Hub 2S for portable whiteboard collaboration (did not purchased from amazon). It's a very nice piece of hardware. There are multiple articles on the internet that talk about all of the features and what not. I'll skip over all the fluff and get right to it (go search 'hub 2s reviews' to get the fluff). Pros: -Very responsive whiteboard (our primary use case). -The pen works really well. -The mobile stand is indeed solid and moves around very smoothly. -Includes Office applications (word, excel, power point). -Somewhat easy setup. -Calendar integration is seamless. Cons: (This is where the internet articles fail to point out, probably because they are just seeing demo units.) -Cannot print. Cannot even add a printer. -Does not support any network share access. For example, you cannot open a word doc from a share, you cannot save a doc to a share, etc... -Whiteboard can only export through email. For some reason it doesn't let you save locally or to USB media; it only allows you to send it to an email. The integration you see in the internet articles with the whiteboard requires Office 365. You cannot use any of the sign-on features without an Office 365 account which means that your organization would be required to be integrated into Office 365. Since I cannot sign into the whiteboard (or any of the office apps), email is the only option. Not sure if there would be more options but still, save locally or again network share should be supported. -Battery option is expensive ($1500!). That's a lot of money for an UPS. Plus keep in mind it will have to be serviced and batteries replaced every 2-3 years. We did not buy this option due to the expense but it looks like it is made by APC and not available yet as of this writing. The network access could be addressed by software updates. The Hub runs a stripped down version of Win10. It reminds me of the Surface RT where you can only install apps from the Microsoft Store, cannot get to the C: drive, etc... The limitation of not being able to use network resources is a real short fall of this device. The Hub does have a USB port that you can transfer files but still, network access should be allowed. You might think, use OneDrive. Yea OneDrive is a nice feature, again if your organization is integrated with it (and Office 365).
