Great, comfortable band. Dries quickly.
I am a skinny guy with thin wrists. Generally I am tightening my bands to the tightest two notches for a no-movement fit. I am tightening this band to the middle. That said, the band fits comfortably all day without any hot spots or imprints forming. The only downside is the band is already showing a bit of wear from daily use after a couple months. It appears the clasp is wearing the fibers on the top of the band. See attached photo. This isn't uncommon for my watch bands, as I usually wear a band out within a year, but something to bear in mind when fastening the band. All in all, it's a great band with a very small break-in period on the front end. I would buy this style again.

Strap is a bit short
Nice strap for the money. The Raspberry Red sailcloth material is shinier in person than it shows in the sample photographs. I have it on a Mission to Pluto MoonSwatch and it looks nice. My only real complaint is that the strap seems just a little bit short and is fairly stiff. Update: after only a few weeks the sailcloth material is fraying around the watch buckle. Somewhat disappointing

Great quality watch band
I received the 18mm, and it's a nice watch band. The bands measures 115mm x 75mm, not counting the clasp, a great size if you have a small to medium sized wrist. The materials are good, and yes it is a little stiff, but it has a leather backing, so it will take time to soften up. However, the comfort and durability of that leather are worth the trade off with the short term stiffness. It is 18mm at the lugs and tapers to 16mm at the clasp. At first I really wasn't sure how I felt about the straps, I had the straps before I received the watch that I was intending to install this on, but after receiving the watch and installing this strap then wearing it I'm very impressed they look very sharp and only after 2 days of wear I can feel it loosening up for better comfort. I know from previous straps the Cordura material on the front of the strap is an excellent watch band material I have no doubt this will last a very long time. It can be difficult to find the right strap in the 18mm size but I highly recommend this strap.

Not built well
The band itself looks really nice. Like others have said, it is a bit stiff, but that doesn’t really bother me; once it’s on, it’s pretty comfortable. My only complaints, which are probably enough for me to return it are: the keeper loop isn’t smooth, so it causes irritation to my wrist. Also, like many have reported, the holes are fraying! After only having it for a day and wearing it twice. And all of the holes are doing it, not just the ones that get slid under the buckle. I’m really bummed, I had high hopes for the strap because I like Barton’s rubber straps.

Sturdy & charming!
Love this watch band. The moment you take it out of the box, you can feel how robust the quality is. The subtle shine of the sailcloth gives it that extra bit of polish. I have a 20mm Timex men's chronograph that I simply can't leave the house without. Timex's watch bands are good-looking but certainly don't last long. I've had this watch Barton's band for roughly a month now and I don't see a single mark on it. The watch band's single latch on the side makes it ridiculously easy to switch out. (No more needing tweezers or pliers!) Fair warning: it was tricky to break in. The sailcloth does NOT want to bend for the first week or so. For the first few days, I would fold the bands in half and place a heavy book on top overnight to get a crease to form. Now, it fits beautifully. I'm a woman with small wrists (5.5") and this watch band still fits perfectly with room to spare. The color is a true medium gray with a very subtle green tint. It's durable enough that I'd feel comfortable taking it on hikes and classy enough that I can take it to the office. Would highly recommend!

Poor quality. Stiff. Holes fraying on day one.
The band is horribly stiff. I had to do a lot of bending and twisting to even be able to get it on my wrist, and I noticed that the woven fabric had started fraying at the holes that first time putting it on. The suede-like bottom of the band is also getting damaged along the edges already. I received the band late on September 1 and took this video on the morning of September 4. The band is still incredibly stiff and does not want to sit correctly on my wrist. Every single hole is fraying at this point even though I've only removed the watch three times, twice in an attempt to bend the bands more and break it in. This is such a disappointment, because without these issues this could be a very nice looking watch band, suitable for everyday wear and the office. I understand that a new band might be stiff to start off but this seems extreme compared to previous experience. I really wish I had paid more attention to some of the competition because now I see that there are some very similar woven bands that have stitching around the holes to prevent fraying. I will be returning this as soon as a replacement arrives. I'm only continuing to wear it in the meantime because the silicone band that came with my watch irritates my skin and that's less tolerable than the irritation of what this one looks like at the moment. It's not that this band hasn't broken in to some degree, so I feel like I may have been happier with a leather or other non-woven option. But after this experience and seeing how similar some competitors are, I will not be giving alternate bands from this brand a try.

I should have listened to the bad reviews.
This is my second Barton watch strap, the first was half the price as this one, the quality wasn't great, but it was for a cheaper watch. This recent strap I received feels cheaply made, it is stiff at first, and after trying to break it in it is already starting to Crack along the holes. I also had to flip the small band that holds the strap in place on your wrist because it rubs my wrist and feels itchy, the stitching sticks out and looks like it is already starting to come apart. While it's convenient to get one or two day shipping, I have found much better watch strap companies for the same price if you don't mind waiting a few extra days for it to arrive.

An Excellent Watch Band
I purchased the Barton quick release watch band in the khaki colour. The sailcloth style and distinctive weave is so attractive. I am using the 22mm size with my Tissot Supersport Chrono Quartz that has a dark blue dial and black bezel. Such a nice match and so easy to change and install the bands with the quick release! Thank you and highly recommended!
