Fun and easy to use!
Ok. so I love trying out new products. I have food processor at home but half the time I don't want to get it down and out to just chop a few onions and then have to wash the whole product. So I bought this for when I want to do just that(chop a few onions). This product exceeded my expectations. I didn't even need to cut up any onions but for the sake of trying out something new I decided I could chop some now and save for the next meal. It’s so easy to use. Just use a few slices of onion at a time. chop chop chop nice and quick turning a little bit each push. There was a few big slices left over when I was done chopping but overall I was pretty satisfied with how well it chopped the onion. I like my chopped onions on the smaller side and it only took about 15 seconds or less. It was really easy to get the onions off of the slicer that were left in there. The bottom portion of the dicer twists off and allows the sides to wing open so that the chopped onions can be wiped off the blades and makes cleaning super easy. Then twist back on and vwalla good to go again. If you have any questions in regards to the picture I posted or product please feel free to ask. Picture 1)slice of onion used. 2)after using chopper 3)what was still left large from slice I chopped up 4)what was left inside the chopper 5)read for cleaning.

Inconvenient convenience, more kuuk junk
Pretty lousy cutting, blades get stuck, and you have to cut things up pretty small to get it to fit. Don't plan on cutting even half an onion that's already been cut in pieces, it's too much for this thing to hold. You have to cut the pieces so small, you might as well just finish doing it by hand. Why cut up onions small, chop them with the machine, empty and do it again and again. Faster to do it by hand. Flimsy, crummy design. You have to hold it together because the sides come apart. If it wasn't past the return date I would return it. I won't ever by any other cheap plastic kuuk products. So far I've tried two and both were next to junk.

Good Chopper ~ Good Price!
What a great little chopper. I've had more expensive ones that don't get the job done as easily and as good as this one does. The way it comes apart for cleaning is ingenious. Every nook and cranny can be thoroughly washed and rinsed. And it turns with every chop, so everything is cut evenly. No need to manually turn the chopper yourself. Very little effort is needed to get the job done. Clever design and functionality with an economical price.

Good but could use minor improvement.
A useful product that seems to do, and do well, exactly for what it was intended to do. It's easy to use and relatively easy to clean and it appears to have been well made. That is not to say, however, that some improvement, however minor, couldn't be made. A simple locking mechanism, for example, to keep handle in down-stroke position would reduce overall storage height some 3-4 inches. Not a biggie but would have increased the number of cabinet storage shelves available to me for it. Secondly, there are no instructions with it or on the box within which it came. And while "how to use" instructions are obviously unnecessary, cleaning instructions might be useful. Device disassembled, for example, at least one level further than immediately apparent ... something useful to know for cleaning. Moreover, and this is something I'll discover only by experimentation, I have no way of knowing if any or all of the chopper is safe to put into a dishwasher.

kinda cheapy
I bought this in July 2015 and it lasted until about 3 months ago. I used it about 3 times a week and tend to chop fairly aggressively so this may be the reason it broke. It's cheap plastic and just can't stand up to constant chopping. Also, I had to pull out the pieces of onion that would get stuck in between the blades and it did not chop evenly.

Very pleased
I am very adept when it comes to knife skills, but there are times when I want a quicker way to chop smaller quantity ingredients, especially when the resulting pieces don't need to be very uniformly sized -- like the vegetables and hard-boiled eggs for potato salad dressing. This tool affords much better control than an electric tool (like a mini food processor). Great example: hard-boiled eggs -- 3 or 4 strokes and they are nicely rough-chopped. This chopper performs very well, provided you don't initially overload it -- rather do the chopping in batches (which is still much faster than a knife). Additionally, the lower housing keeps the pieces confined - so no pieces flying around as with knife chopping (chopping up slivered almonds especially comes to mind). Clean up is no problem, (but then I wash these types of tools immediately after I use them); the chopper quickly/easily disassembles into 3 pieces and the upper housing opens up like a clam shell (hinged). I simply rinse off food particles with the sink sprayer, swish the parts around in soapy water, rinse, allow to air dry, then reassemble - all ready for next time.

Horrible.
I'm so very sorry, I didn't read the one-star reviews before I purchased this. It is horrible. I tried to chop an onion and it stuck in the blades. I chopped it out with a knife. Then I tried to chop a smaller piece and it still didn't work. My mom had one of these and it worked really well. You would think after more than 50 years that this would have been engineered better. Don't waste you money.

Kuuk Onion Chopper, if you are making salsa or chopping vegetables for salads, etc. buy this unit.
I was in the middle of making salsa on Friday afternoon and my other chopper was wearing out so I went to Amazon and found Kuuk brand and it met my needs, so I order on Prime delivery. My big surprise was it was delivered on Sunday. So that afternoon I started another batch of salsa and what a difference the new chopper made. Simple to use and easy on you grip as the two sides are cushioned. This unit is much easier to clean as two sides flip up so you can get inside to clean. I will definitely buy another Kuuk chopper and have recommended it to my friends and family.
