Unique Balanced Flavor That’s Delicious On Everything So Far-Red Peppers Aren’t Overly Hot
This Dry Adjika seasoning mix is so good. Everything is ground to a fine consistency, and it’s such a unique flavor profile that’s balanced and works surprisingly well with everything I’ve tried it on. I’ve tried it as a rub on steak, pork tenderloin and salmon and have even used it to season my baked potato. My favorite way to use it is to simply pour a little extra virgin olive oil in a container and pour some seasoning in and rub the meat I’m seasoning in the oil and spices until the meat is well covered. Although just a small package, it goes quite far. The seasoning has red peppers but isn’t spicy hot, and it already has salt so I don’t add any other spices. While I rarely eat pork, I enjoyed this seasoning on the pork the most. I cooked it in the air fryer so the seasoning made almost a crust and it was delicious. I’m going to use the rest as a rub on turkey. The bag isn’t resealable, but a glass container would be wasteful and the less plastic the better. This seasoning is so addictive the packet won’t last too long, and in the meantime I just fold it a few times and keep it closed with a little piece of tape. I’ll definitely buy this again. Love it. 5 stars.

Adjika sweet & smoky salsa
Dry adjika is a new spice to me. It intrigued me bc it was from the pepper family but native to Georgia. Georgia as in the southern most part of Russia just north of the middle east. So all those lovely, smoky spices. That's exactly what this is. Adjika red peppers, coriander, blue fenugreek. I am a coriander addict so this to me is coriander with slight kick. The heat really only comes to it with actual heat. I made sour cream dip with fresh garlic, green onion then added the adjika. After a day to marry, had mild heat & was quite delicious. It's similar to Cayenne but with more layers to the flavor. It really came to life when he had it as a blackened chicken spice and, I did it with a tofu scramble. He did add hot sauce to the chicken to spice it up. Level 3Thai is his starting point. The only thing that disappointed me is, it wasn't as fresh as I expected. It was more "McCormick fresh". The fresh you get from store bought bottles. Guess as it was imported, expected the better quality you seem to get from overseas. When we store buy, the African spices are always fresher than US. Our important spices come from our green market guy, who sells in pouches, as well. That's why I always have empty spice bottles to repurpose. So I guess I expected Pomona, especially considering they are foil sealed pouches, To have more oomph. The good news is, if your scared of heat but want to experiment, this is a good starting place. Good potato seasoning & if you want make Adjika salsa, the dry spice was a good substitute for jalapeno. I have to admit, I went down the internet Adjika rabbit hole when getting inspired. Yes, I'm hooked on Adjika salsa, they call it a pesto. There is no chopping, everything is chopped in a food processor (I used my NInja Pro bullet) It's sweet and tangy made with carrots, apples, tomatoes, bell peppers & garlic plus adjika dry spice. It's always nice to experiment with new things. Really like the flavor so will try again.

I expected more from Khmeli Suneli packaged in Georgia
It is OK and will work for my dishes that need Khmeli Suneli, but it is by far not the best while being rather expensive. The first time that I purchase it online. The package is really small. Will try some other options on Amazon next time. Still nice to have it sold on Amazon. Hope, the company will be able to improve its quality.

delicious and perfect on lamb, warm, savory, not spicy, went well with Moroccan stew on the side
So being of eastern European descent I was intrigued by this, my grandfather talked about his time in Tbilisi like it was Eden, so I really wanted to try this. It took me a long time to get around to using this, it came with only one recipe and that was for eggplant which wasn't going to go over at all with the kids. For the meals I cook for my family we have been in sort of rut, always the same rotation. I guess being stuck home during this whole Covid thing has forced me to get creative with meals as well as to pull out foods that we have had sitting there for a while that we always passed up for our usuals. This included three cuts of pasture raised lamb (two shoulder chops and a leg chop) that I picked up in the clearance bin and had frozen, these had always been passed over because they were not loin chops. So I took this lamb, trimmed it, cubed it, tossed it with olive oil, salt, and this Khmeli Suneli spice and pan seared it and it was fabulous! I served it with Moroccan stew and it was a perfect pairing, the stew had a similar warmth and savory from its cumin and a little harissa. My husband was impressed with the flavor of this, and one daughter loved this so much she had a second serving. My grandfather would have loved this, and I did set aside a portion and freeze it and will take it to my mother when I am able, she was practically drooling over the phone when I was telling her about this. There is very little salt in this spice mix which is nice because you add your own as everyone has different tastes. This spice mix also reminds me of one that a friend's dad gave me that was a middle eastern spice mix, so if you like middle eastern flavors you will also like this. It wasn't spicy, just flavorful and warm and savory, and the aroma was also just amazing. The packet was smaller than I was expecting, but even after spicing three huge cuts of meat there is still plenty left for a few more meals I'm sure, so packaging can be deceiving size wise. The packaging was not resealable which was little bit of a bummer, luckily I had an empty spice shaker that I put the remainder in. At the time of writing this review the price is $5.49 which is a bargain in my mind. Anyway, a wonderful spice mix, would buy again and would recommend.
