Very weak coat
Very weak coat. I got it to coat bijouterie since it oxidises very quickly on my skin causing allergy. Few pieces covered in at least 2 layers oxidised by the end of the day. I don’t know how many coats I would need to do to avoid this but I don’t have that much time. Also, it’s not very clear immediately that the solution will drip and leave a lot of drops on the piece unless you remove it constantly until drying.Another solution that dripped on the surface is impossible to remove, this one can be just scratched with the nail.Do not recommend.

Turned my oxidized door handle back to new
Five stars, and it earned every one. One of my exterior door handles had oxidized badly. It’s the door we rarely use, so I don’t know if it aged differently from lack of being touched or what, but it had gone dull and grimy while its twin right next to it still looked good. The mismatch was so obvious I was ready to replace both handles, because putting one new one next to the old one would just make the contrast worse. Before I spent that money, I gave this a shot. I can’t believe the results. The treated handle looks new again. The photos tell it. Before, the oxidized handle is dull, cloudy, and gray-green with age. After, the same handle is back to a clean aged-bronze finish that matches its twin. Same handle, just cleaned up and sealed. Now I have to do the other one so they match, but I have to plan it for a low-traffic day, because it takes a couple of days to fully cure and you can’t be manhandling the door while it sets. It’s easy to apply. The coating is very thin, almost watery, so it goes on smooth. It’s a little pricey and definitely not cheap, but a can goes a long way, and almost everyone has more than one use for it. Jewelry, locks, furniture, that kind of thing. I’m already planning to do my old fireplace tools with the silver handles next. So the cost stings less when you realize how versatile it is and how much you can treat with one can.Now the one real gripe, and I was fully ready to knock off a star for it. When mine arrived it looked like it had leaked. There was a sticky spot on the bottom of the container and the instruction pamphlet was stuck to it, so peeling it off got residue all over my hands, and the pamphlet was basically sealed shut with dried material. I couldn’t open it without ripping it. I inspected the can closely. I shook it and squeezed it and nothing more came out, and the lid was factory-sealed, the kind you have to cut open with a utility knife or snips. So I don’t think it was actually leaking. My best guess is something got on it and dried during shipping or at the plant. But taking a fresh product out of the box and immediately having it all over my hands, then feeling like I had to glove up just to hold the container while I worked, was not a great start.I was completely ready to drop it to four stars over that. But the result was so good I don’t care. It did exactly what I needed, saved me from replacing two perfectly good handles, and left one of them looking brand new. Five stars.

Great Product
Bought for treating beaded fringe earrings so that they don't fold on themselves. This product worked great for keeping the upper brick stitch part nice and stiff. Did change the look nor the colour of my beads. Also, I will be treating the earring hooks to make them all hypoallergenic. The product is easy to use and doesn't smell too strong. Would definitely buy this product again. It is pricey but it does the job that nothing else could. Don't hesitate, buy it.
