My Aldi freezer had a couple of issues and this fixed the problem. Water got into the item and so the thermostat didn't switch on the power. Depending where your probe is you should be able to pull out the old probe wire and push the new probe wire though the same tube.

The original thermostat in our KoolKube failed and prevented the compressor from shutting off. I decided to take a punt on this as the probe length is slightly longer than standard. I was able to coil the extra probe around in the thermostat box (after adding some sheath to it). KoolKube now working as intended.
