Why is it so expensive? It's 3.99 each at Trader Joe's?

I was gonna say the same thing. I've been buying on Amazon, and decided to go into Trader Joe's since I was close. Omg! It was only $3.99! I'll never buy this on Amazon again for $14. I feel like such a Doofus for paying that much for months. 🤦🏽♀️

I found this online: Trader Joe's Tea Tree shampoo ingredients: water, tea tree oil, peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, rosemary oil, nettle oil, thyme oil, birch leaf oil, chamomile, clary, lavender, coltsfoot leaf, yarrow oil, mallow, horsetail oil, soybean protein, coconut derived c12-14 olefin sulfonate, cocamidopropyl betaine, tocopherol (vitamin E), trace minerals, citric acid (corn), sodium hydroxymethyglycinate, sea salt, grapefruit seed. Has anyone tried using this as a face cleanser? Does it deep clean?

I have used it as a face cleanser they also sell a body gel with same ingredients, tea tree is a natural antibacterial and rosemary helps prevent hair from falling and I believe is antibacterial as well (don't quote me on that). I hope they never get rid of it because is awesome, no chemicals and is very reasonably priced at TJ's luckily I have one nearby. This one here is way overpriced!

Can this shampoo be used as a co-wash (1-2 times a week), in addition to weekly shampoo/deep conditions for Type 4 natural hair? Or is it too harsh for kinky coily hair, more than once a week?

I use it monthly for clarifying. It’s very good for that. I use more moisturizing shampoos on other wash days. It’s only $4 at Trader Joe’s so that’s where I get it. This price is crazy. I have hears that some people use the conditioner or even the body wash as a co-wash but not this.
