Every Bosch Oxygen Sensor benefits from the technological and manufacturing experience gained from decades of production, since first inventing the Oxygen Sensor in the late 1960's, ensuring long-lasting, superior performance that you can count on. Bosch Wideband Oxygen sensors are 100% tested for full functionality, resulting in a seared appearance of the protection tube, to ensure every Bosch manufactured sensor meets Bosch's rigorous standards for quality and performance. Exclusive double laser-welded stainless steel body is totally submersible and sealed tight to protect against contamination from exhaust emissions — ensuring a longer sensor service life. Fast-acting heater optimizes sensor operation, allowing the oxygen sensor to reach its operating temperature quicker – within seconds – for optimum performance. True Direct-fit OE connectors and harnesses, along with threads pre-coated with anti-seize compound right out of the box, make installation simple and hassle-free. It’s critical that oxygen sensors are replaced at the suggested intervals provided by vehicle manufacturers before the sensor fails. Following the recommendations will prevent long term damage to a vehicle’s engine, reduce harmful carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and save money when refueling your vehicle. Review: No problems with fit on my c300. Little difficult to access but right part for the job. Review: My Subaru 2002 Outback went from high altitude to sea level and the engine started stalling in traffic, began running rough with intermittent racing. It had done this years ago. Back then I paid hundreds of dollars just to have the O2 sensors replaced. This time I figured I could replace the sensors myself. I looked at several web site vendors and then turned to desertcart. I was surprised that I found the part for my 2002 Subaru Outback. desertcart even verified that the part was correct for my make and model ("This fits your: 2002 Subaru Outback, 2.5L H4....). I went to Y__T____ and found a video that showed exactly how to replace the part. I also went to the free manuals on Autoz***.*om to determine the exact location on my model car. I did not need to remove the exhaust pipes from the exhaust manifolds so I bought the Powerbuilt 648691 Oxygen Sensor Offset Puller. I had to put a pipe extension on the rachet, and carefully applied pressure to get the sensor removed, but it worked like a charm. I bought both the front and rear sensors, and replaced both at the same time. The plugins were an exact match. The whole job took about 2 hours, not bad for a novice.
