When I bought this I didn't expect it to be so beautiful it looks way better in person than it does online it's a pretty blue the case does not open it's pinned shut to provent it from falling out it comes with a hook and nail if you wanted to hang it on your wall it's a very good size if you are looking for a pretty bug that doesn't take up a lot of space if you want it on your desk or on the wall this is for you I'm really happy with what I got there is not much good reviews on this but here is your sign to get you a blue carpenter bee

Exactly as I envisioned.
I was originally skeptical to buy taxidermy insects off of Amazon, but the quality from the seller is unmatched. I am in love with the color and everything. It was also packaged so securely, which I appreciate! This is a Christmas gift for a friend and I'm so excited to give it to her

The pic is definitely more blue than the one received. It’s still a nice specimen. It does appear to be more blue in different lighting situations.

Pretty 😍
So pretty! Brings tears to my eyes to see such beautiful creations such as this. The blue is so eye catching and the display is set up nicely

Decent product
The actual specimen is excellent. The frame is cheap and is not “presentation” quality. For a classroom or similar setting it will work. However, for office, home or other areas where presentation matters I would look for specimens with wood frames and real glass.
