Gringos Mens Dark Brown / Black New Leather Cowboy Boots

My wife thought they looked nice. Description said rubber soles but they are white plastic. As some have suggested I took the boots to a local shoe repairer to have harder wearing soles put on. I asked the repairer what he thought of them expecting glowing praise. Instead he said he thought they were PVC and didn't look to him like leather.Not wishing to cast dispersions on the supplier I asked a 'friend in the know' what he thought. Without prompting he also thought they didn't look like leather. There is no indication anywhere on the box, packaging or boots of their country of origin or manufacture which seems strange (and I think against the law). I asked the website where they came from but the supplier remained shtum. I thought about it and decided to send them back. Didn't fancy paying £70 for shoes which may be £20 plastic.Even if they are leather the quality isn't there. I have a couple of pairs of cowboy boots already and there is no doubt they are leather.This all seems a bit naughty to me.

These boots are good quality tooled leather. The soles are PVA-type plastic, which is a bit 'slippery', so you should probably budget to get a set of rubber soles put on (c. £20 - £25, eg Timpsons), similarly the Cuban heels are a bit 'solid', especially if like me you suffer from plantar fasciitis, so also budget for some gel-type insoles as well. The boots are generously sized, so you should get insoles etc in OK. The actual leather is very decent quality stuff, takes in Cherry B polish beautifully and comes up looking really good without too much elbow grease. Although I ordered brown boots, black were mistakenly delivered - I decided to keep them anyway. They give every indication of being durable and hard-wearing.

A very tight size 11, nice quality leather and a hard-wearing sole. Leather upper is attractive gloss finish. The soles look hard wearing but are not at all attractive. Fortunately no one is looking at the soles so it doesn't matter at all. They can't be faulted for the money.

Very good and value for money. Bit of a mix up with delivery, advised post office by the Saturday and they arrived by hermes on the Friday when I wasn't in so had to wait for next delivery

My husband was thrilled with these. They are a perfect fit and very comfortable after a couple of days of wearing in, which is normal of course for new leather boots/shoes.

These boots were just too much of a bargain to pass on. Excellent fit and extremely comfortable. I'm a big fan of cowboy boots and must have bought in excess of 10 - 12 pairs over the years. Unquestionably I'd rate these No.1. I love the stitching and detailing on the leather. They're soft and comfortable. I'll definitely buy more.

got them this morning ahead of schedulehavent taken them off yet , i had boots years ago i know they were good they lasted years lets see how long these last , still they are extremely comfortable and affordable tried others on last weekend r comfort i would put these in the 300 + price range ell worth the money ,thumbs up fellas
