UNFLAVORED DOES HAVE A TASTE! DON'T TRUST ANYONE!
Hello! I'm writing this review to bring awareness that this "unflavored" option does indeed have a taste. I wanna say kinda like a zero sugar propel aftertaste but that is it's main flavor profile. I have unflavored protein powder that legitimately has no taste and I can mix it in with my coffee in the morning. MAN O MAN THE TASTE I GOT FROM THIS IN MY COFFEE. Please do not mix this with coffee. It will make you think you just used spoiled creamer. Drinking it on it's own, it kinda taste like that propel I mentioned earlier and it's not bad. BUT PLEASE NO MIX IN OTHER STUFF. Found this out the hard way but needless to say I won't take off a star because I've used this product before but never mixed it with anything else besides flavored protein/green powder shakes in the past. So ultimately before I thought it was just the green powder giving the protein shake that aftertaste but now I can say confidently it was this. ANYWHO this is a amazing creatine just no mixy in other drinks or if you do, expect a unpleasant taste. Also with monohydrate I found myself getting extremely bloated. I'm sure it has nothing to do with it but I'm lactose-intolerant so if you are, then probably expect monohydrate to cause bloating. If you have a normal body, monohydrate will work well! I just use this option for the no bloating PROS: No Bloating Amazing value Mixes Pretty Well (i just shake in water bottle with no blender ball) No Smell NO BLOATING CONS: No mixy in other drinks if you care abt taste Don't trust reviewers saying it has no taste! I enjoy and love cooking/baking. I think I'm a fairly decent home cook/baker, definitely better than the average person. Especially in my generation. I can wholeheartedly say, this indeed has a strong taste to it!

The truth about the flavor....
DO NOT LISTEN TO THE HIGHLY RATED IGNORANT REVIEW OVER FLAVOR. They don't understand the most basic facts about the supplement they purchased so they are complaining about something that doesn't matter or make any sense. Creatine Hydrochloride is acid based.... Meaning if you were to put totally unaltered, unsweetened creatine HCL in water or any other drink, it would taste disgusting. Would be like drinking lemon juice and vinegar. NO ONE would buy the product and 99.9% of people who purchased it would think it had gone bad including miss unflavored complainer. They add a small amount of sweetener to this to make it at minimum palatable. the "natural flavors" are the natural acidity the compound has. that is why, when you take the inherent flavor of the acidy sour taste HCL has and put a little bit of sweetener in it, the result is a kind of lemonade-ish flavor... this is not flavored, it simply was made edible so it's not gross and everyone doesn't return it. this is a great product, made properly by real lifters for real lifters. dont let the normies that don't know what they're talking about sway your opinion.

Absorbs well, tastes great, helped me push through a plateau!
Only 2 cons: 1."Unflavored" isn't really true. It has a tart taste, almost like lemonade? So don't think you can stir it into your coffee or shake without it changing the flavor significantly. There is also a "coating" left on your mouth after drinking it, but it goes away quickly. 2. The scoop is itty bitty tiny. Like, minuscule. Hard to dig out at times, and feels weird when using it because my pinky finger sticks out involuntarily. Pros: Dissolves pretty well, tastes great in water, and WORKS! With no loading! After using it for 1 week, I blasted through a couple of plateaus on my back squat and deadlift by significant percentages. It also doesn't upset my stomach like Creatine Monohydrate does. Highly recommended.

Quality creatine HCl option if monohydrate doesn’t agree with you
Verdict: More expensive than monohydrate, but a solid, clean creatine HCl from a reputable brand. I’ve used a variety of creatine products over the years, and this Cell-Tech Creactor (Creatine HCl) is a good option if you either can’t tolerate monohydrate or simply prefer HCl. Formula & mixability: It’s unflavored, mixes easily, and doesn’t cause the bloating or GI discomfort that some people experience with creatine monohydrate. Ingredients are clean and straightforward, which is what I look for in a supplement like this. About “Creactor”: The packaging markets this as “Creactor” creatine, but it appears to be more of a branding/marketing term than a fundamentally different form—similar to how “Creapure” is positioned on the monohydrate side. Regardless of the name, the product itself performs as expected for creatine HCl. Effectiveness & use case: If you tolerate monohydrate well, there’s no strong reason to switch—it’s cheaper and very well studied. However, if monohydrate causes bloating or discomfort for you, this is a great alternative that’s easy to take consistently. Value: At $24.99 for 120 servings, it’s pricier than monohydrate but fairly priced within the HCl category, especially given MuscleTech’s reputation and quality control. Bottom line: Not necessary for everyone, but a very good option if you’re sensitive to monohydrate or prefer creatine HCl. Good choice if: monohydrate causes bloating or GI issues for you. Skip it if: you tolerate monohydrate well and want the cheapest option.

Pucker up, because 'unflavored' is really bitter lemon flavor.
I normally use a brand of creatine monohydrate that is unflavored. I mix it with a little bit of water, swill it down and don't taste anything except for a bit of powder, which is what I now find normal. If I mix it into a smoothie or anything else, it is undetectable. I thought I would try this 'unflavored' version of creatine HCL to see if there was any difference in the results from my other brand. I was extremely dissapointed and shocked when I tried it for the first time and realized that MuscleTech's definition of 'unflavored' means that it has a strong taste like a very bitter lemonaid when mixed with water. I almost spit it out when I tried it because I was worried that something got mixed into the batch at the manufacturer's packaging plant and that my package was contaminated with some other type of chemical. I then had to jump online and read the reviews and find out what others were saying, which is that 'unflavored' is definitely not equal to 'no flavor'. This has an undeniable very strong bitter flavor to it. I am surprised it's not mentioned more often across the reviews and can only suspect other reviewers have a distinct advantage or benefit in not mentioning this. But buyer beware... if you are thinking that 'unflavored' means 'no flavor', this is definitely not what you are getting. MuscleTech should own up to it, correct the marketing misrepresentation and label it for what it is, this is Lemonaid flavor, not 'unflavored'. Had I known that in advance, I, like many others, definitely would not have purchased it which is why I suspect they decided to label this 'unflavored' instead.

Great price for creatine HCL
On my 2nd container of this stuff. I didn't know I was supposed to be doing 2 servings a day. I wish their instructions were consistent with the page vs container. (Such as the container says take 2x a day, take 1 servings immediately *after* working out. On the site, it also says different things. One screen says take 1x 30-45mins *before* working out on workout days and do 1 or 2 scoops daily. Then another screen says to take 1 scoop 2x a day and 2 scoops 30-45mins before workout.. which, I think I'm going to do the 2 scoop before a workout to avoid having to do it again.) Texture is chalky but it dissolves very well. Unflavored has a flavor, which is like a citrus-like taste. It's not bad, it's a flavor that'll mix well with many pre workouts. You can feel the chalkiness after you drink it but it does go away quick, especially if you wash it down with more water. I'm not sure if you can beat this price, I know 2 servings a day will bring the usage to 60 days for $25. For creatine HCL, that's really hard to beat.

Use to add to other low dosed supplements
Under dosed scoop. A lot of BS marketing, still bought it because it was a good deal when on sale. Nice to have unflavoured creatine hcl on the side to add to other low dosed pre or post workout drinks.

Different from what is shown.
I got the old version. It says u flavored. Smells bad. It tastes horrible even if it is mixed in water. Not recommended and I'm not going to buy this brand again.
