Zhiyun Smooth Q2 [Official], 3-Axis Handheld Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer for iPhone, Samsung, Android, iOS, with Time-Lapse Vertigo Shot Object Tracking

The media could not be loaded.  This is my first gimbal and I’m very impressed, my footages are WAY better! I got this one because it is the smallest I found and I want to keep it in my photo bag.It is small, but not too light which help to keep it study. Everything Is in metal except the handle in rubber. It feels premium and pretty solid.There is a universal tripod screw at the base of the unit which can be useful for advanced needs. It is standing up by itself but I wouldn’t count on it, it is not very stable.The battery is huge with 16 hours on one charge! You can charge your phone from the gimbal if you buy a cable separatelyBalancing the phone is dead simple, you fix it, you put it horizontal and move it slightly until it stay horizontal by itself. It takes less than 10seconds.Once balanced, you can dismantle your phone quickly using the small red release latch. The clip stay on your phone which permit to put it back in place without having to rebalanced it. To be honest I haven’t used it, but it exists!There is only 3 buttons, but you can do a lot with these- On/Off button - One long press to start/stop the gimbal - Three short presses to rotate the phone in selfie mode- Record button - One short press to take a picture or start video recording (you can use it without connecting anything on the native camera app!!) - Three short presses to put the gimbal in “wide camera” mode, it slightly rotate to move motor out from camera view (need the latest firmware)- One joystick - One short press to go to the next mode - Two short presses to go back to the previous mode - Move the joystick to move the camera in some modesThere is 5 modes, indicated with 4 led (these led also permit to see the battery level at start/stop)- Pan following- Lock- Following- Point of view- VortexYou can switch from paysage to portrait just by moving your phone manually with your hand! You can also put the gimbal in sleep mode by moving your phone in portait. The movement is slightly different, you have to try to understand.The application ZY Play permits to go further with you gimbal. You have to connect the gimbal in bluetooth to your phone to use it, the application helps you and it is simple.There is a lot of modes, timelapse, panorama, slow motion, dolly zoom, object follow mode, etc. and update your firmware. The application is well made and add a lot of features to this gimbal. I haven’t try, but it seems to be compatible with the Filmic Pro application.In conclusion this gimbal is small but very cleverly made and it don’t lack any features. It feels solid and should last longer! The video I added is the first I did, filmed on my iPhone and edited with LumaFusion. New videos are even more stable once I get used.I recommend it to anyone searching for a compact gimbal.

This is a great gimbal for starters!It's easy to understand how to use and the app works well.It stabilizes movement when you take your video. The one thing is that you have to make sure you learn how to balance the phone and the gimble when you attach it because that is the only way it'll work!

My goodness, this is a great gimbal. I have the Zhiyun smooth 3 and it has been my go-to for a couple years. I’ve tried the dji osmo mobile 2 and the smooth 4. I preferred the smooth 3 over those, and I got some great shots using it...but it is big and bulky and I find myself leaving it behind more often than not.Enter the Zhiyun Smooth Q2.I cannot express how compact this gimbal is compared to others. Before this was released I picked up the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 because of its fold-down function. It still felt big and I haven’t been able to bring it everywhere I want. I returned it and decided to give the smoothQ2 a chance. This thing actually fits in my pocket comfortably. It does everything I’ve loved about the smooth 3 and in a simpler fashion. It has a robust build without feeling bulky. If you are on the fence about getting this or another compact gimbal, give this one a chance. The app could use some work, but the product itself is the best there is for a phone.

just got the item and noticed that the phone holder is badly designed. If you just have the thinnest case on your phone it will not hold your phone very secure and there is a chance the phone will slide out. :( If I keep it I would need to cut the back side rubber thinner :( I don't feel like removing the case each time I use the item because one drop and your $1000 phone is damaged ! Otherwise the gimbal is fancy designed with aluminum and feels good quality. But also those companies put lot off effort into the hardware but forget to make the app easy to operate, can't really calibrate, in other modes the gimbal just point up or down, the app is not a big help and mention I need firmware update but not really tell you how. I really had hopes for this gimbal cause its small and maybe for very basic things OK, but I think I will stay with the more expensive one. Also once you remove the sticker which way the phone goes into the holder, you will never know because the forgot to put the markings on the item !

There's so much to say about this. First, I love the size, it's small enough that it doesn't look like youre lugging around a huge amount of "camera equipment"; it's a super handheld size. Next, the battery lasts so long which is good for long days of traveling. Next, the stabilization is amazing! I used it on a a hiking trip to Yosemite and it stabilized walking on uneven paths so well (Check out Robert Gianan on Youtube for these clips)! There's a bit of a learning curve when first turning it on and balancing it but after that, it's so easy to use!

Exatamente como vi nos vídeos, produto muito bom e com vários tutoriais no youtube.A bateria dele dura exatamente o que promete. Pena que não é aprova de água.Sobre o carregador, vem o cabinho mas o adaptador não vem. Por sorte o carregador do Redmi 10 é compatível então não tive problema.Sugiro que assistam os tutoriais antes de usar o produto para você ajustar ele ao celular e ficar retinho.Utilizo o Redmi 10 nele (que um celular bem grande) e não tive problemas.

Lo compre en una buena promoción el estabilizador es muy bueno, compacto los acabados son finísimos se ve y se siente un artículo de muy alta calidad, solo como observación les recomiendo que si buscan algo para grabar en su mayoría historias y videos en formato vertical, este no es ese dispositivo el rango de movimiento se limita mucho cuando cambias a formato vertical, puedes tomarlo de forma lateral pero es un poco incómodo.

Love this gimbal for my Velvet 5G. Works beautifully and worth every penny. Easy to balance and operate.

This is a good gimbal but be aware that with a Galaxy S10+, it is difficult to keep the motor out of the frame. If you are buying a gimbal for the S10+, a DJI might be a better fit.

Creo que una de sus mayores virtudes es su pequeño tamaño, lo puedes llevar en la bolsa y no es engorroso. Es de aluminio y no pesa tanto, Yo lo uso con un redmi note 9s y cabe perfecto y también puede con el peso, siempre que esté bien equilibrado. El botón de grabar funciona con la app de fotografía nativa.
