Brightness
Mounted on my choppers springer front end. Looks great and the brightness seem good. I do not take it out much at night. But, when I do it does the job.

Check it close
I bought this as a return and at first it looked good. Then I tried to mount it on my bike and the mounting block was stripped. I tried to get help from Amazon but it was past the 30 days so I was stuck with it

Cheap, not very serviceable.
Hardware kit doesn't work very well, had to make modifications to make it work. Not terrible though. However I noticed shortly after using it the chrome is putting and bubbling up in certain areas. Not sure how long this chrome is gonna last. There is zero indication what wire goes to what. You have a ground wire, regular lamp brightness wire, and a bright lamp wire. I had to manually figure out each one. Not hard, but for the average person a big deal breaker. At least include a simple wire diagram guys. Lastly it is impossible to service/replace the bulb. The GLASS DOES NOT COME OUT without breaking it. The bezel unscrews counter clockwise but then the glass is heavily seated in and is extremely tight clearance. Do NOT expect to replace the bulb if it goes out. I will be replacing this soon with a better option. I wouldn't recommend this.

Not bad
So I just received my headlight. First off the packaging was a bit suspect and it could have been packed better. Because of that mine came with a ding on the "hood" over the headlight. The glass was intact though so I just kept it. It isnt that noticeable and this is no show bike. I took the headlight completely apart to put in a H4 LED bulb I had but it would have been a tighter fit in there than I would have liked but it's the bulbs fault with a rather large heatsink and pigtail with full-size connector. The headlight is heavy and a good casting but the housing is threaded all the way around for the chrome bezel and lock ring for the headlight and the threads aren't the best so it's easy to cross thread. I didn't want to use the wiring that came with it and instead took apart the Harley Davidson connector but getting the crimped ends into the headlight was impossible so I drilled out the hole where the wiring passes in to get the factory crimped ends in. I went ahead and removed the base from the headlight and locktited the bolts holding it on as there was no locktite found on them. Then came mounting the headlight to the bike. I have a 2001 Harley sportster and the factory Allen head bolt is a 3/6x16 but the base of the headlight is a M10x1.5. I ended up making a aluminum plate to move the headlight out a bit but will eventually put it back in the factory mounting holes as soon as I locate a M10x1.5 Allen head cap bolt. Shipping took a bit longer in this age of Amazon prime but it's no big deal, just wished it would have been packed better.

Surprisingly good quality
This headlight is really nice. The shell is heavy chrome plated metal. The reflector bucket is also metal as is the retaining ring. The outer beauty ring is either aluminum or heavy plastic but it's hard to tell as it is chromed. The lens is glass. I replaced the halogen bulb that came with it with an LED bulb of the same dimensions and it works really well. Some of the reviews mention how easy it is to cross thread the locking and beauty rings but that is not accurate. If you are careful and slowly thread them by turning them gently with a finger an opposite sides of the ring, they both go on easily. Patience is key. Also, the wiring is colored kind of wonky. Mine had different colors than the picture on Amazon did but it was easy enough to figure out by comparing the plug with the stock one on my motorcycle, which I know what all of the wires do because I have a wiring schematic and the plugs are identical in configuration to accept the H4 bulb. Anyway, a really nice product for the money. Saw something almost identical at a few motorcycle parts websites for a whole lot more.

Nice looking headlight
One of my customers needed a cheap headlight to get through state inspection this looked good and for the price was great but the bulb brightness left alot to be desired

The glass was cracked and it was borderline due to costs if I sent it back as the refund doesn't cover all postage costs which is ridiculous
