I want to address the 1 star reviews. One guy bought a used costume and complained that it was obviously used. Okay... Another gave a one star because he liked the blue color. SMH. I did not find the jacket itchy at all and received compliments that I looked very formal. Which was the look I was going for. Make sure to buy the advertised long sleeve white shirts that finish the look. Not sure if one is wearing a long sleeve undershirt how the jacket could still be itchy.The buttons were secure and the color was as advertised.As for the fit, I think people just think they know their size and are sad when this jacket ends up being too small. The included size chart goes by actual measurements and the jacket fit great because it matched the chart. Use the chart. Also keep in mind the design of the jacket and vest is not based on modern jackets and rides higher, so some might conclude the jacket does not fit when it actually does.at any price this was a great costume and I am going to keep it in my costume collection. At the price, they are charging it exceeded expectations and you should ignore the one star ratings, but give yourself some time to exchange if you get the sizing wrong.

Nice matierial but if you have a bit of sculliosis it might rip the back as I had to straighten my back for this and not move my arms too much and the buttons are sowed on with decent slack so Idk if they are easier to pop off yet or not but ill give any heads up if they do coat should be a great fit for the Renaissance fest as well as keep me warm

Needed this for a formal Harry Potter cosplay And it looked great!!! If you are a bigger man with a muscular build, you may want to order one size bigger. But, the fit relaxed and fit much better as I wore it.And it looked good. My wife had a McGonagal robes on. Her daughter made that robe, so I needed something to match up with it.

I received this jacket today and was impressed right away with the material and the fit. It has a high collar which can be adjusted by folding it down or wearing it up. The color is a deep wine with some light design stitching. I buttoned all the buttons and love the fit, even on my larger than normal belly....LOL I would definitely recommend this jacket. I wear 2xl shirts and this jacket fit fine! I would buy again from this manufacturer. It's a good quality for the price and well made.

I ordered the dark navy blue and what I got looked black. So dark that I returned it, thinking they gave me the wrong color. The next one they sent was the same. In the brightest of light, you can barely see that it is indeed dark blue, but NOTHING like the color in the picture. If you want dark blue, opt for the royal.Otherwise the fit and quality were very good.

I ordered this coat for a Halloween costume (I’m getting on it early this year), and it’s surprisingly great quality! It definitely smelled weird at first, but nothing some Fabreeze doesn’t fix. Whatever fabric it’s made of is very sturdy and has the quality of velvet. It’s also fully lined and silky on the inside, which is awesome! The only thing I’m worried about is the buttons—I might reinforce those as they feel a bit loose.I ordered a small, but I am a girl, and even though I’m tall (so it at least doesn’t drown me), I’m pretty petite. I wish an extra small existed, because it would have fit better. That said, it’s small enough that all I need to do is cuff the sleeves and take in the side seams, and it will look pretty good!As a note: I ordered the dark blue coat, and it’s quite a bit darker than the picture. It doesn’t really bother me, but it is a little difficult to distinguish from black.
