awesome little laptop stand. sturdy, easy to use, compact when you need it, works with my 16 inch gaming laptop and others, material is strong and it's a bang for your buck. it's still short in the front when there's a laptop on it so that's great as some others are tall off the surface which i don't like.

I have an old 15.6" dell inspiron laptop weighing almost 3 kg. The stand is holding it perfectly and very light weight. Material quality is good. Multiple height adjustment options. Non-slippery. Liked it. Go for it!

Hello Amazonians, Needed a Height Adjustment equipment to have a better airflow for my Lenovo Legion y740 15" gaming laptop and purchased this device. Finish/Feel: Overall it has a nice finish without any sharp or unFinished edges and looks good to the eyes. Is light/mid weight but doesn't feel cheap. Yet quality could have been better. Material: It is NOT aluminum made but more-or-less made up of a composite material (a sort of an Alloy of different metal grades) which feels a little bit less sturdy for the long run which needs to be seen but it gives a good stability to my laptop that weighs around 2.25 Kgs (4.96 Lbs). Also, it is recommended to use the stand adjusted to the least height setting as increasing the inclined height and then using the laptop for typing might make it wobbly. Safety/Stability: The stand has rubber pads at the base to keep it firm on any surface (wood, glass, metal etc.) And also has rubber pads at the upper part to keep the laptop stratch free and giving it a firm grip too. Height adjustments: The stand has 7 levels of height adjustments that can be set as per the requirement and the finish is matte textured with a good amount of metal matte shine that goes well will either MacBooks or other brand of laptops. This product will provide you with an inclined elevation i.e. one end of this is fixed at a hinge and the back end varies in elevation from a minimum of 2 inches in height to a maximum of 5 inches with elevation as follows: a.) 2 inchs inclined from base (10 degrees elevation), b.) 3 inches (15 degrees), c.) 3.5 inches (20 degrees), d.) 4.0 inches (25 degrees), e.) 4.5 inches (30 degrees) and f.) 5 inches (40 degrees). Case/Cover: Unfortunately there is no pouch/sleeve/case/cover that comes with this stand but if you can safely cut open the white plastic, you can you it as a cover for the same. Size/Weight of Laptop that it can support: I have a 2.25 Kgs (4.96 Lbs) Lenovo Legion y740 15" laptop that i use onto this product to raise its inclined height to its bare minimum i.e. 2 inches in height (10 degrees elevation) and it feels stable, smaller and lighter the laptop, this will provide better stability. Overall a maximum of 15.6" laptop on a 2 inch/3inch height elevation is better suited when this product is placed on an even surface like table or hard even surface. Laptops larger that 16 inches might feel oversized and wobble while typing/doing normal laptop work. I’ve been using the Portronics My Buddy K laptop stand since 16 May 2025, and I’m genuinely impressed. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because of a slight misalignment in the left leg of the stand. It doesn’t affect usability or stability — just a small nitpick on an otherwise excellent product. It’s been amazing in daily use. I pair it with my Asus TUF A15 FA506UI (Dimensions: 36.83 x 25.65 x 2.49 cm; 2.3 kg), and it fits perfectly — no wobble or balance issues at all. While I don’t typically type on the laptop while it’s on the stand, I did test it out, and it handled pressure very well — no instability even with some extra force. It has helped reduce overheating thanks to the angled design improving airflow. The foldable form factor is super convenient, and it even comes with a travel pouch that’s surprisingly well-made. For just ₹399, it’s an absolute steal. Highly recommended for anyone with a similarly sized laptop looking for a portable and reliable stand. I'll post a long-term update in a few months.

Supports my LOQ 15 well without blocking the fans, still need to give it some more time to see if it lasts, but seems quality enough so far
