Legendary Ladies Goddess Deck: 58 Goddesses to Empower and Inspire You (Ann Shen Legendary Ladies Collection)

I fell in love with these cards the moment I saw them used by another reader. I immediately went and bought myself a deck which I absolutely adore. This is my 13th+ deck and it's probably my best quality one. The cards are a sturdy, soft, matte material which makes them so extremely easy to shuffle and very soft to handle.The booklet provides simple 1-2 sentences about the Goddess's message along with her photo and name. I like that the description is simple and to the point, as it leaves so much room for your own interpretations. I really love researching each goddess as I pull her from the deck. Further research can open up deeper interpretations and build your own personal knowledge as well.The art is just divine - which is appropriate! Beautiful lines and color work, it's just to die for. The box is such nice quality too. It's the kind that you pull out from the short side rather than being a top and bottom piece. It's a very thick, soft, sturdy box that will absolutely keep your cards safe.I cannot recommend this deck enough! Even if you aren't a reader and are just looking for daily inspiration or messages from the divine feminine, this is the deck for you!

I’ll get straight to the point: I’m so in love with this deck! The matte texture of the cards, the rounded edges, the gorgeous art style and colors, the box design (though the inner part doesn’t fit as snugly as I would like and slides out a bit too easily), everything! If I could critique anything, it would probably be that the guidebook wasn’t terribly in depth with meanings and interpretations but that isn’t a huge deal to me since I can easily research whatever I need more information on. There is such a sweet, gentle energy about these cards. I’m looking forward to incorporating them into my readings.I’ve noticed that concerns about inclusiveness are a frequent “sticking point” in tarot and oracle deck reviews, and rightfully so in most cases. Personally, as a minority myself, I don’t care about this aspect all that much but I can understand why it would be an issue for some. All that said, I was quite impressed with the level of cultural diversity in this deck and I’m honestly stumped by some reviews that feel otherwise. It’s unfortunate that some choose to nitpick about things like the skin tones of characters depicted in the cards over the spiritual elements that should be one of the more important considerations when choosing and using tools like these.

This is one of my favourite oracle decks. The cards are large but not too large and they are of a sturdy cardstock. The pictures on them are beautiful and the colours are vibrant but not too bright. I love that they are from different parts of the world and show Asian, Egyptian, South American and African goddesses as well (to name a few). They are more diverse as a deck than some I have purchased and there is a good mix of the different cultures in this group of goddesses. I feel a great energy with them and I love using them.The box they come in is super sturdy and well made. The booklet fits the box beautifully but is also easy to use and read. It has been beautifully made.I love it and recommend this deck.

This a very beautiful deck:) I read a review before I made a purchase that said that the person that created is deck was obsessed with white people but what I discovered is the artwork is very diverse. The ladies in this deck come from all cultural backgrounds including mine which is African american. There is wisdom from every type of goddess and I feel I need that in my spiritual journey to ascend and transcend. The type of card stock that was used seemed difficult to shuffle but rather than complain and make it seem as if the deck is worthless because of the stock. I decided to use the difference as a way to be more open about the type of shuffling I can do with this deck. Every deck I purchase is different so to me every deck should have it's own shuffling g style instead of wishing they all could shuffle the same. I love the different way the box was created to store the cards and I love the messages on the cards. I feel like this is a beautiful addition to my decks and I love the artwork. I look forward to using them!!

Originally bought these because of my love for all things Aphrodite. But then realized these are a GEM. The first package the cards came a little bit damaged so I reached out and by the next day they sent a replacement. Loved that. The cards are DIVINE and so is their energy. So special. They feel so feminine and nurturing and so far the readings I have done have resonated so much it’s not even funny. The small handbook is great but I am going to buy the larger book she has on the goddesses and would recommend that too!Overall, you should DEF buy if it’s calling you to! 💖

The deck is great. The diversity is awesome. The messages hold concepts that are very easy to grasp and share. Size is fine for shuffling. Card stock is quality. The images themselves are very Disney like in appearance, which resonated with me less. That’s my one area of dissatisfaction. Still a great deck though. I facilitated a retreat and used this deck in a goddess activity icebreaker. It was a big hit.

I love goddess decks and this is a gorgeous one!! There’s a great variety from many different religions and cultures. Lots of goddesses that I don’t know much about and excited to learn more. The guidebook is full color with a short description of each goddess. I do wish the image of the cards in the guidebook were bigger but that’s a minor quibble. The box is sturdy and has a nice little pull-out drawer with a ribbon for easy access. My only other minor complaint is that the cards are a little on the thin side but I do like that they’re a matte finish. The first card I pulled was Kali, my matron goddess so I can say this deck and I are already on the same wavelength! I like that there’s quite a few darker goddesses represented like Hel, Hecate, and Morrigan. Overall I love it and am excited to work with it!

I haven’t done a reading with these cards just yet (I will update). I’ve spent some time shuffling and getting myself acquainted with them, and let me tell you I have never felt so strong about a deck like this one! I just feel this strong feminine energy & empowerment just handling them!As for the physical aspect of the cards, very easy shuffling. Long but not wide cards, which I personally adore! They are very thin, which gives me the impression that they can bend very easily over time, so I suggest handling with extra care as best as you can. They are matte and borderless which in my opinion is stunning, and the artwork is so whimsical and lovely to look at! The messages are straight forward, which is excellent whether you are experienced as a reader or a beginner like myself!

The materials are nice quality, and the art is beautiful. Cards come in a cute box, accompanied by a booklet with some info about the goddesses / deities. Size is nice, but they cannot be shuffled the same way as other decks because they are a bit longer than average. Would buy again, totally happy with them.

Beautiful book with lovely images and vibrant colours. Easy to read, short descriptions. Ideal for kids and adults.
