This review is for 200A battery.FAULTY BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, PLEASE CHECK THE BMS IF YOU PURCHASED THIS BATTERY!!!My first impression was good about this product until I find out it is my inverter which shots down the power at 10.5 volts not the BMS. Then I tested the BMS and find out it doesn't shot down at all. The handle is not balanced and when you lift it one side goes down other side up...a lot.***** for the battery it self, it seams to be a 200 A/h battery, I just test it it two times.***** for battery connections, well designed with covers and sufficient for 200 Ampszero * for volt meter, way off on reading proper voltage, why even bother with this ch...p j..kzero * for BMS it will not disconnect at low voltage at all*** for 20 Amps charger, lets say its better then nothing for this battery size but it will charge the battery properly.I just own this battery for a few days and over all I would NOT recommend it. Faulty BMS will destroy the battery very fast.I will update this review with more info later.

It took about a week after ordering before I received any tracking information. Shipped from Hong Kong on December 25th and arrived on December 26th. I was amazed at the shipping speed.The box was very well protected and taped. Inside the box was a styrofoam box which was also well taped. I was surprised to then find the battery very well packed inside numerous carefully cut pieces of styrofoam. Best packaging I’ve ever seen.I connected the battery (400 ah version) to my RV and let the inverter/charger charge the battery to about 90%. I ran an electric heater as a test (120 amp load through my inverter) for 100 minutes which pulled 200 ah. I then checked resting volts and determined I still had 40% SOC. I also tested pulling a bit over 200 amps and charging near 100 amps and all good so far. I haven’t tested the low voltage cutout but high voltage worked great.The size and weight of this battery is amazing. Very small and light. I read there isn’t a low temp cutout which deserves a loss of a star but it’s priced so well. I was very skeptical but this is a no brainer. Recommend.Update: I’ve used this battery on a few trips now and it’s still great after 7 months.Update: It’s been a year and still working amazing. My wife turned on the electric fireplace on a recent trip and we got to test out the low voltage protection, not intentionally. I used a little jump starter pack to get the generator going and all was good. Amp meter showed 394 AH consumed.

I've had the 12V 200ah for 2.5 years now and I still love it. I use it for camping to power my 12V fridge and charging various items. I camp almost every weekend all year long, so I've put it to some good use in hot and cold weather. I did a test when I first got it to see how long it would power my 12V fridge inside my house at a controlled temperature, and to this day it is very close to the first result. The only issue I have had was the first charger that was sent with it wasn't working, but after a few emails and pics of it not charging, he sent me a new charger and it's been fantastic since then. I'm very happy with this battery!

I initially purchased 2 to test they looked OK. Wrote a good review stating I would write a further review after a long testing period. I have had 5 of 7 units fail. Tried to contact seller to no avail even through Amazon. The units were built to be very difficult to service epoxy everywhere to prevent servicing. In each case it required grinding of screws to remove the defective cells. In each case the first cell failed by expanding to twice its size. The BMS failed because of poor quality, the cells are clearly marked 172 amp hour sold to be 200 amp hour. With no help from SHUN BIN at all. Using 1 cell from one defective unit I repaired 4 of the units replacing the POOR quality BMS with one from overkill solar the remaining cells seem to work but all failures were a result of the BMS design or lack of, SHUN BIN should be forbidden from selling on Amazon till they have reimbursed all buyers of defective units. What say you Amazon!!!!

SHUNBIN SEEMS LIKE A GREAT COMPANY. I HAVE HAD MANY QUESTIONS, AND THEY HAVE CONSISTENTLY GIVEN ME GOOD ANSWERS WITHIN 24 HOURS. FOR EXAMPLE:Each day I have charged the battery to 14. PLUS volts -------------- then each night it drains overnight -- and each morning it gets stuck at 13.7 volts ................ I contacted the seller a few days ago -- Seller did not respond at first glance. ***** Update: Seller has now responded and said that 13.7 is normal because it is 100% fully charged battery at 13.7v. I now have a problem with the charger -- but hope seller will send me a new charger. I have raised my rating to 4 stars ..... and will raise it higher after seller sends me a replacement for the defective charger.

Summary: I ordered the 12 volt, 200 amp version to use in my RV and had read prior reviews and wanted to determine the actual battery performance so I set up a full charge and discharge test using the power supply provided (20 amp, 12 volt). Prior to the discharge I provided a complete top up charge. The test was conservative providing the battery with best case discharge conditions (21 amp load, ~.1C discharge rate, ambient temperature 21c (70F) and a declining load once 80% discharge was achieved (new current 13 amps) and again at 95% discharge (8 amps). The result was 2293 Watt Hours (191.1 Amp Hours) of capacity.While I am disappointed that the battery did not deliver 200 amp hours, overall I am pleased with the value of the purchase. I purchased before the price increase and paid $1199 (Cdn) with free shipping which for a 191 Amp/Hour battery in Canada is good value. The package appears to be solid and well made. Shipping time was very good – 14 days to my door (ordered on April 28, shipped via UPS on May 7 from China via Hong Kong, received May 12). There were no taxes or duty paid upon receipt. I was expecting a 30 amp charger based on the questions and answers in the ad and I received a 20 amp charger instead, however I was planning on updating by converter/charge in my RV so not something I will lose sleep over. There was absolutely no documentation received with the battery.Warranty: I would assume that warranty will be non-existent so if this is a concern for you, consider a Battle Born battery which comes with 10 year warranty. (Rant: as of May 14/20 amazon.ca lists the 100AH BattleBorn battery (BB10012) at $3,183.39, amazon.com lists the same battery at $949.00 (USD) ~ $1139 Cdn @ $1.41 exchange) Almost 3 times more expensive in Canada. WTF!Note to seller: based on the discharge data the package appears to be based on 185AH cells. If you advertised the battery as 185AH, I still would have bought it at that price. You have a decent battery that is fairly well constructed don’t be afraid to share detailed battery specifications and documentation.Specifications: Actual battery case - 36cm (14in) long. 23.5 cm (9.25 in) wide, 19cm (7 in) high, 18.6kg (41 lbs). There is a switch on the front that shuts off power to the LED display but not the battery. The battery was smaller than I was expecting and different than the size given in pictures and published questions to the seller. I assume that the package size has changed over time based on the newer higher density cells now available.There is no evidence of temperature protection (either high or low) and I may consider upgrading the BMS to something little more robust with temperature sensors in the future. For those not aware the BMS can be the weak link in a cheap LiFePo4 battery and failure can result in permanent cell damage.Test details:• The ambient room temperature was 21c (70F) and the battery was allowed to stabilize for 12 hours prior to starting testing. During the test the case temperature was 25C (77F).• A top up charge was provided to the battery until zero amps were being consumed by the battery. Note: I have noted some confusion regarding charging LiFePo4 batteries where people are concerned about the charger remaining connected to the battery after the charge is complete. Part of the job of the BMS (not the charger) is to stop current flow to the cells within the battery once a full charge to the cells is achieved. The battery (and internal BMS) seemed to perform this correctly.• The test used a battery power monitor with shunt that measured voltage, amperage, watts and watt hours.• I used a 300 watt inverter with 2 – 100 watt and 1 60 watt light bulbs as initial loads. As the test progressed I reduced the load at the 80% discharge mark to just 1 -100 watt bulb and 1 – 60 watt bulb, then again at the 95% discharge mark to just a single 100 watt bulb.• I used one of the cameras from my security system to observe the meter and discharge data which allowed me to build my own detailed discharge curve chart specific to this battery.• The discharge curve was typical of a LiFePo4 battery with fairly stable voltages throughout the discharge cycle and then a rapid voltage drop in the last 10% to 15% of remaining charge.• Voltages observed through the discharge cycle were: 0% - 13.69v, 10% - 13.15v, 20%, - 13.13v, 30% - 13.11v, 40% - 13.01v, 50% - 12.98v 60% - 12.96v, 70% - 12.87v, 80% - 12.77v, 90% - 12.65v, 95% - 12.3v, 100% - 10.31v• Low voltage cut-off (by the BMS) was observed at 10.31 volts, 2293 watt hours and the test took just over 9 hours to complete.At the end of the day this was a black box test (internal components are unknown) and results are for the battery I bought. The seller is likely purchasing components on an as required basis and someone buying the same battery next week may have slightly different results if the seller uses different cells and BMS to construct the battery.For those new to LiFePo4 batteries, I highly recommend spending some time watching Will Prowse’s channel on Youtube. He provides great entry level and detailed reviews of anything and everything LiFePo4 including how to build your own. I enjoy watching how excited and passionate about LiFePo4 he is.

200Ah versionI reviewed this battery in February 2020 but have since deleted it when I discovered I had reached conclusions too soon.I received it in January 2020. After fitting, I caried out a test and the result was 176Ah. I gave it the benefit of the doubt at the time because the test was quite severe and I was happy enough to accept it as a 180Ah battery because of the cheap price.I'm now sorry to report the output is down to 106Ah, the last check and seems to be getting progressively worse.The realisation of how the battery  deterioration came about; one day the alarm went off in my Motorhome, which is stored inside  during lockdown,  because the battery had gone dead. The battery  monitor regestered 121Ah !As I thought it might be a one off. I reset the system and left it. Same thing happened again, this time only112Ah. Reset for the last time . Now just106Ah.There is a drain of between 0.25 and 0.35 amps from the onboard electronics and a trickle charge to the engine battery. An average of 6Ah in 24hours. I should get at least a month or a lot longer from such a low discharge rate, from a full charge,  now I'm lucky if I get 15 days .The charger is not left permanently switched on because I'm aware LifePo4  battries should not be left fully charged over a long period of time. Also , been inside, it does not have the benefit of the solar power.Ambient temperature is around 10°C . I am allowing for optimum output is between 15 and 30°C as stated on spec. Therefore I would imagine we would very seldom get full output with the climate in this part of the hemisphere. But 106Ah?I've had several exchanges with the supplier. The replies are  prompt alright with,1, 2 or 3 line brief  responses asking repeated questions, manipulating  the results from screenshots I sent, trying to tell me the monitor is not acurate or consistent and excuses such as, wear and tear of the battery, (after one year?) and I'm not fully charging the battery.I have a 30Amp Victron mains  charger. Therefore I know when it is fully charged without any guesswork.The "charger" supplied with the battery is only a power supply. While it is marked as 30amp it can only deliver 20Amps.My battery monitor is a Victron BMV  712 Smart with settings for Lifepo4 batteries including settings to know when a battery is fully charged. I get a bluetooth readout from both the Victron monitor, the Victron mains charger and also the Victron MPPT solar  charge controller. Therefore I can see exactly what is happening with the charge and discharge procedure.As part of our communications regarding fully charging the battery, I discovered the battery will quickly drop to 13.3V (90%charge) when either the Supplied or the Victron charger is disconnected and the battery is completely disconnected from the van and just a multimeter connected.  I have never seen the battery staying at anything above 13.3V right from new. It makes no difference how long the chargers are connected. Furthermore its down to 13.2V (70%) with just 8Ah used.However there is no need to get technical  to know there is something very wrong when a so-called 200AH lithium phosphate battery goes flat after two weeks parked up in an enclosed building with such a small draw, even allowing for the lower temperature. The two 100ah AGM batteries I replaced would do better!Last year, during use, it might seem the battery was ok  mainly because my Solar and Votronic 12V50A BtoB charge systems maintained it. However, it showed its true worth when it was laid up!I have seen other negative reviews. Most feel they only had a180Ah - mine is even worse now. Is there a fault in the battery?  I try to keep informed about the proper battery use and care...Shunbin seems to think there is nothing wrong with the battery and will not honour the guarantee . I simply got tired of contacting him. At this stage I can almost predict the 1 or 2 line replies.Now it seems I'll have to replace the battery and its going to make the purchase of my next battery very expensive!  Pity, because the battery is so small and light - only 16kg! I understood from other reviews the battery weights 18/19 Kg. When I checked this out with Shunbin, he assured it was the "new improved" version. Perhaps therein lies the problem!Next time I will go for a proven brandVery disappointingYou pays you money and you take your chances .

That shape size and finish of the battery is nice. The battery rests at 13.3 or less which I think is a bit low compared to other life po batteries.I have used it for 2 years of fairly hard use and it seems to give me a full 400ah.I had to open it up and tighten a connection inside. Right now you can buy 2 renogy 200ah for the same price and I think they are better quality. And rest at 14.2

It looks quality item, stainless steel, lighter and a bit smaller than I thought. It took a long time to get here but I always knew that would be an issue. The battery seems happy to suck up 250watts all day long and will supply 100 amps without batting an eye. The voltage is not as static as people make out. I notice that the front voltage display is up to 250mV low and I am told that voltage is critical with these devices.. Getting charge settings from the supplier has been difficult, and I would say that this issue needs correction as people don't want to risk plating the electrodes and ruining their battery.... but at this time I have had to use Battleborne settings found on the internet for my setup, I have set my max volts to 14.6 and float to 13.6v. Capacity checking is another issue, I will have to devise a test that gives me accurate, repeatable set of results and as yet that particular test escapes me.I do though have complete confidence that my 1100w kettle can be put on each morning and the water heater can be put on mid day to make sure I have a tank of very hot water to shower and wash with. I can leave my fridge on during the day, only switching to gas in the evening, but I notice that gas is much more effective and so may just use gas to get the 3 way fridge cold and electric to keep it so. I will continue to update as I know more about this item, but after going through two sets of lead acid batteries in quick succession, this item will pay for itself in a few years.UpdateOne year in, it’s been used constantly, charged it and tested recently I still got 2.4kwh. Superb. I insulated it in the winter, no issues at all. Charge it correctly though, make sure your settings are correct!

- Product Arrived a couple of months late due to corona virus. Understandable.- You need to use the charger you get with the battery on the battery before you use the battery. There are 2 settings on the charger. Make sure that they both are correct before you charge the battery. I used a multimeter before i charged the battery to check if the charger output was 14,6 volts.- I didn't recieve a manual. Seller provided it to me through email.- Seller replys within 24h everytime. Messaged seller at least 10 times.- BMS is installed correctly, No need to even learn what a BMS is.- I highly recommend that you read the manual.- Easy to use, well made and affordable battery.- I will definitely buy another battery in the future when i need to upgrade this 12v 200ah battery to 48volts 200 ahBUY NOW!EDIT:Just realized the internal BMS doesn't have a low temperature cutoff. If you attempt to charge these batteries when the temperature hits below 0 °C then the batteries will get damaged. I mainly charge these through solar with my 100/50 victron smart mppt so I recently purchased a victron tempeture sensor which I put on the battery to prevent it from charging below 5 °C as a safety measure.
