The smallest and largest adjustment holes are 9 inches apart, just as the size chart indicates.The back section is 18 inches across before it tapers into the side and front. It's almost, but not quite, 4 inches wide. It's 0.24 inches thick. It's made with three layers. It appears that the outer black surface is top grain. The inner layer is split leather. The middle layer is the thicker than the inner and outer layers combined, and may be full grain leather. I'd hope that's true so that it has the strength that is expected of a leather weightlifting belt. The side and front of the belt is 2 3/8 inch wide, and while it works, it would be nice if it were thicker so that it would be easier to push the abs against.Grizzly is a Canadian company, and they do make some things in Canada, but this belt was made in Pakistan.I've only used this belt for barbell rows and overhead press so far, but every indication is that this belt will last for a very long time. This was among the least expensive leather belts on Amazon when I bought it.Even though the width of the front of the belt isn't quite what I want it to be, that's too be expected with a narrower belt, and I cannot mark it down for it. It's a really good belt for its size.

I bought this belt in 2004, used it everyday for 10 years... Then one day it ripped.. So I figured I would get another so I bought same brand... After 3 weeks leather ripped and fell apart.. Goes to show you quality isn't what it use to be... The old belt said made in USA.. This one says made in Pakistan. I tried to ask for a replacement but they won't replace... Save your money this use to be a great product but is now just a cheap pice of trash.

Huge disappointment! This thing is NOT built to last! I just started using this today, and it's already started to have tears in it. I'll add the photos later, but after one leg workout, it started showing signs of tear. I was using it to support me for a 340lbs squat, and I did that about three times. I also used it for some deadlifts with a similar amount of weight.Too bad... I really wished that this product would work correctly, but it doesn't. I highly recommend against purchasing this product.

Thick padded leather and is comfortable to wear. The wide belts always pinch me and are not comfortable. This one offrs good support and is very comfortable to wear.

this medium belt fit my belly, it keeps my back stronger than before. However, it seemes too hard, there is often a gap behind my back If it's a little soft I think it is better
