6533 TQi 2.4GHz Micro Receiver with Telemetry & TSM (5-channel)

Typical traxxas, works as expected but in my opinion these should be $20, $25 max. I understand this is an RTR brand and focused towards that but This is dated technology paired to an extremely dated radio. Traxxas doesn't need $40 for these to likely go into a kit made by traxxas and probably replacing another traxxas receiver. Its works fine, range is great, durability is standard to every other brand. If they were cheaper I'd buy more for kit cars but at this price its hard to justify buying them vs a brand like flysky which is vastly superior in every way. If your looking at this receiver for a new car, maybe think about switching to a company that makes transmitters and Ditch the rtr radio. Look into flysky, something like the G7P or if you want a huge step up look at the flysky noble nb4.

Bought for my trx4 bronco and worked perfectly. Original one burnt up some how shortly after purchase. Probably from me mudding it. Back in action tho now!

I ordered this receiver for my Slash vxl2 but didn’t realize It was the wrong one. So I’m going to order the transmitter to match this receiver. I don’t know why Amazon keeps saying this goes against their community standards . The product works great and it was my mistake. The price is good and Traxxas is a good company.

Always been my go-to receiver for all of my RC card builds having various Traxxas tqi receivers and being able to bind up to 35 vehicles. It's a no-brainer

Put this into my Stampede 4x4 VXL which didn't come with TSM. However what's weird is that I've noticed when the Sensitivity of the TSM is at 100% - the truck won't go straight and seems to want to "waddle" steering wise. I'll have to look into it a bit more to see what it is but the receiver works as it should here, just need to get to the bottom of why it does that.

I received traxxas tsm receiver. Tsm goes off and on. The hobby shop say it's a bad one. Like Wow send it back.

Received item but it didn’t work. Returned and received working receiver, good experience, no complaints. Item received was as it was described

I bought two of these. One for one of my old slash's and one for my brushless emaxx. I didn't think that it was a big deal having tsm until I got a slash 4x4 brushless that has it. What a difference it made compared to my non tsm 4x4 brushless slash. The slash in particular is very hard to control at speed and the module really makes a big difference under power and braking. If you take a jump and the truck gets sideways it will automatically correct the steering for when it lands. Its really amazing. Just a tip here, I have the base station for one of my trucks that has the iphone dock on it. The transmitter with my older slash (the non bluetooth one with the red logo and no antenna) would not pair with the new receiver. I had to plug the iphone base station into the old transmitter and update the firmware on it and then it paired no problem. So just be aware that you might have this issue with old firmware on your transmitter.
