Voltas 1.5 Ton 5 Star (2017) Split AC (185 EYR Wine Red)

Hey Guys, I just recently buyed this product from Amazon at just INR 28,999 /- . Delivery was on time and packing was Super, Nothing was Damaged and I callled voltas guys same day and they scheduled the installation for next morning. Next morning 11:00 am Voltas guys called me that if you are available can we come for installation ? I said yes, thay came at 11:30 am and done the installation in next 2 hrs. Everything went good and Ac was installed sucessfully. Now lets talk about the AC, This is my first voltas AC, before that I had Panasonic and Lloyd. Voltas is best as compared to both, no noise, Outdoor unit noise is negligible as compared to panasonic and Llyod. Out door is installed in my balcony and at night noise is negligible, its like the noise comes from fan in your room :) ac was having 6 feet pipe with it and nobs as well, nothing was missing from it.Remote is having buttons which glows in night, so you don't need to turn on light. Look wise its perfect 5/5 looks great on the wall. Electricity consumption is low as compared to other AC's, I runned it full day more than 12hrs and meter reading was increased by only 10 units for a whole day. So its really cheap, because other daily home appliance was also working at the same time. :) Any one looking new AC should go for it, and forget all the bad reviews, exceptions are always there but everything went very well for me. And I think seller is also good and delivered everything as expected. SO GUYS OVERALL ALL GOOD & YOU SHOULD GO FOR IT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A 1.5 TON 5 STAR AC UNER 30,000/-

Good AC. Delivery was on time and as promised. Installation from Voltas was done very professionally and also on time. Got this at good price (Below 29k after discounts) compared to similar AC in the market. Running this for 2 weeks now. cooling is great. little noisy compared to high end AC's but not too bad. The wine red color looks great on wall. With 3.51 EER, this is at boundary line of 5 STAR same as Sansui, Kenstar and majority of others but since its voltas as established brand, its worth going for this price.

It's a very nice AC. It has a 5 star rating and a copper condenser. It looks great as well. Got a good deal from Amazon. The product was packed nicely and delivered on time. The volts technician did try to fool me and extract Rs 500 more for drilling a hole in the wall which is already charged for in the standard installation. But I called the Volts call center and they fixed it. Also there is no drainage pipe provided and they charge Rs 40 per feet for it. No issues with Amazon. Great service

The Air conditioner is ok. Cooling is good not very high. But the remote control system doesn't work properly. Sometimes the air conditioner doesn't get the command of remote. Sometimes when you pressed the button from remote nothing happens even at the direction to the air conditioner. Over all Okay product.

It's been 8 years and this works so well. Just timely service and it stays for ever. Go for it.

i wish i paid more heed to the negative reviews already there for this product. But the lightning sale was just too tempting, and i figured 'how bad can it really be?" Bad decision. It's been pure and simple horrible! Its been 15 days since the purchase and i have not been able to use the AC even once. The first guy who came for the installation apparently left too much gas, causing ice formation in the indoor unit, which hence had to be kept switched off. 3 days later, someone came to resolve it, removed gas, and in the process not only made the AC completely non effective, but also broke the swing making it impossible for the flap to close. the call center rep assured me that he would get it checked on priority - but actually didn't note the problem at all! i just called up to ask the status of my complaint and have been pushed back a further 3 working days for resolution. Considering i've spent almost 40k of my hard earned cash on this piece of junk, i now wish i had gone with a tried and trusted brand instead. There is no escalation matrix, call center doesn't have a TL available for a chat, there are no mail ids to call, service center doesn't entertain calls - all you are left with is an ineffective call center rep, a text box to vent your frustrations online, and a broken AC. Hope you are stronger willed than I was - there are no free / discounted lunches, and if something is being sold at a heavy discount, it is quite likely that there is some problem with it.

To start with, got it for an amazing price!! Also tried to buy through a friend in TATA group. 25% discount is available, but the AC has to be bought in his name. So went ahead with Amazon. Prompt delivery by Amazon and prompt service by Voltas. The technician has come to install the AC within 24 hours. Unfortunately he has to wait for 1.5 hrs due to power cut!! Suggested him to attend other installations and return to me. He obliged and returned to set up the AC very professionally. Job done very neatly. 5 stars for his service. Charged 1500 for installation and 750 for ODU mounting stand. Getting used to AC. Took time to understand the operation by Remote. I have seen that many users are complaining about back light. Not sure what it is, observed that the remote buttons are radium illuminated. So in the dark, there won’t be any issues with operation. Overall, 5 stars for an amazing product!!

I bought the product in lightening deal. The cost around 29000/- with cashback. Pros Elegant looking Decent cooling Reasonably priced Cons No backlight for remote display.The remote keys are backlight. The outdoor unit is a bit noisy.We have installed the outdoor unit to a window that is very close to our bed and sometimes the noise is significantly noticeable. the cooling is decent but could have been better .I observed cooling is less effective compared to some of the other air conditioners. Voltas installation took lot of time, may be due to offer many people bought it and service guys were trying to cash on people's urgency. However Amazon customer service was great . They were prompt to call us and engage us with Voltas service guys whenever we were stuck . Overall if you can live with the cons then it is good buy from price point of view. If you can spend more, then I would suggest to go for reputed brand like carrier , blue star and daikin .
