Running QuickBooks 2014 Premier Editions: The Only Definitive Guide to the Premier Editions

The only book on QB Premier 2014 that addresses the advanced functions. These functions are tricky and this book helps the user navigate through them. Sadly, the book does not discuss the uses of various functions. The answer as why one would use a function and what is gained by it is not addressed in this book.

Maybe more information needed for customize the form, etc., it would be great for TAX report, but day-to-day analysis of our small business is not enough. Retail of small shop requires more easier way to calculate the ROE, etc., payment is not really important. Unless you input the payment, you cannot calculate the balance, not good. That kind of situation , how to do, and so on, I want to have more explanation to my needs.

Excellent book on Quick books 2014 Premier, which is probably the lst good version of Quickbooks since Intuit rolled out their QB Online services. Trust me, buy this book, you won't be uisng their online service (cloud based) SaaS accounting for a while yet. It seems that the Russian programmers they hired didn't get the memo on testing their own code before it was deployed to the public.

This book is very helpful and informative. It is written in easy to understand language. This book explains differences between Premium and Pro versions. The information is organized and easy to look up specific issues.

It's been a good reference book for me. Helped me learn the program.

This is definitely helped with the set-up of the program. Some of the steps are a one time shot only and the wrong answer the whole program can change.

The author provides specific guidance on using the added features for premier. I appreciate getting a better understanding of what the upgrade to the program really brings to my business. I also bought a basic guide for QuickBooks and these work well together as the basic guide has more depth on things that are not premier specific.

This is like having a QB expert user standing over your shoulder guiding you through processes you are unsure about. I wasnt sure how to set up and account for an employee wage garnishment for the small business I work for and the process was in the book and carefully explained with tried and true best methods.

It broadly does the job, but the layout is dull. It needed more illustrations. It has some techie appendices which I found useful.
